Butch Trucks, for all of you Allman Brothers fans, just passed away.

He’s the absolute master of trollery. I’d admire him were he not an unrepentant psychopath.
The Founder of Namco and father of Pacman, Masaya Nakamura. Aged 91.
‘Sopranos’ Actor Frank Pellegrino Dies at 72 After Battle With Lung Cancer
‘Battlestar Galactica’ Star Richard Hatch Dead at 71
My life revolved around that show when I was 12 years old. I still watch it on DVD and listen to the soundtracks to this day. 😦

BSG was a big part of my childhood as well. (I had nearly all the Mattel toys, including the ones recalled later for firing tiny plastic missles.) I was really impressed by his efforts to revive the show. With what a reinvigorated Star Wars franchise rakes in, I’d bet Universal wishes they had gone with his concept now.
Farewell, Captain Apollo.

Now Universal could take inspiration. I’d bet a stream series that captured the spirit of the first season would do well with scifi fans.
I was a big fan as a kid.
RIP
What the hell? Richard Hatch??? RIP man 😦
He was the one I was looking forward to the most in Axanar

I just saw this. Very sad. He always remembered his Wisconsin roots too. A big loss to the world of music and Jazz.

William James Myers aka, George “The Animal” Steele, from WWF.
He was excellent as Tor Johnson in Ed Wood.
He looked a lot like Tor Johnson. I was fooled by the Ed Wood pics of him, thinking it was from the actual Plan 9 From Outer-space movie.
