So much potential for the franchise that is almost wasted DarthLeia.

Tarintomato flicks are over the top with dialogue in Doggs, Pulp, Django, and barstads, but the worst offender Darth Proof.

Oh yeah, my mistake. Tarantino wrote the screenplay for From Dusk Till Dawn, but it was directed by Robert Rodriguez.
Oh wait, you should check out another movie, Four Rooms.

I was asked to talk about my Top 10 Movies of 2016 on my friend’s podcast, so I had to watch some more movies from 2016 before I recorded so I wouldn’t have to have X-Men: Apocalypse or Deadpool in my list.

If you haven’t already recorded, I’d recommend the following:

We recorded Monday, but Hell or High Water was on my friend’s list!

Pulp Fiction (1994) – ★★★★

Great! I think I actually liked Reservoir Dogs just a tad more, but that one’s also a lot shorter.

THE SUN RACES THROUGH A BLUE SKY FILLED WITH WHITE CLOUDS.
THE WAYS OF HIS HEART ARE MUCH LIKE THE SUN. SONIC RUNS AND RESTS; THE SUN RISES AND SETS.

I definitely see them on par and I don’t buy into the idea that Reservoir Dogs is inherently inferior due to it’s unoriginality. Without preconceived notions and just judging the films they are definitely in the same ball park in my opinion.

I loved the Soundtrack in Reservoir Dogs. Especially when you have Steven Wright as the DJ introducing the songs on the radio.

Reservoir Dogs is an absolute waste of time as it is a pitiful ripoff of City on Fire. It is not merely unoriginal but actually plagiarism.
In my humble opinion only Jackie Brown is worth anyone’s time. I have grown so tired of Tarantino and how in the world he continues to get away with wasting everyone’s time by regurgitating the past is beyond me.

I disagree with this post. But hey, you like what you like.

The Lorax (2012)

I mean, it’s nice and colourful, with decent voice acting (even if none of the actors except Danny DeVito fit their character), and insanely catchy songs (my god they got stuck in my head), but it utterly spits on the message and nuance of the original Seuss story. Also, the characters talk in this weird unnatural way that seems that way just to be hip with teh kidz.

4/10

La La Land - 9.8/10

I saw it a fourth time. I’ve never done that before. I’m gonna stop now.

Split - 7/10

Decent flick, but my enjoyment was significantly dampened by the crowd. 8 people got kicked out, including a guy who was getting blown, and the girl who was blowing him.

Day of Anger – Another spaghetti western, but one of the best ones I’ve seen. Just check out this trailer: https://youtu.be/2UX6KMJd7Sw

In regards to Tarantino, I’ve only seen Pulp Fiction and The Hateful Eight. I don’t know what’s particularly special about him, but the ones I’ve seen are pretty good. Not personal favorites, but he seems to like the same kind of movies I do.

I don’t get the splits part. Probably shouldn’t explain it though.

I did, I mean I get the joke of “that blows”. I just cannot figure out the joke I’m hoping they “split”. I only assume it’s a joke because that’s not a phrase people regularly use anymore
