i'd love to see that in motion! think u could do some more of those vaderios? i was thinking about the shot where luke deflects the blaster shot with his saber and it hits the ceiling above the guy, but he acts like he was hit.

My favorite part of those shots are the backgrounds Angel did. Forget the slash. The main improvement is the background.

The slashes look good, but that is not going to save this horrible "battle." It looks like a play. It is that acted out and slow. I also hate how the whole thing takes place in one little area. I wish there was a way to change the story around and make it more epic. Not just on a Sail Barge.
Boba Fett's death is totally lame and I hope that Ady will keep him alive for something. If he is not, then give him a respectable death.

It's an escape from the sail barge. What more do you want? Random starfighters, a herd of rancors, dueling sarlacs and a one armed Wampa back for revenge with its own rival sail barge?

That mock-up is probably a little too violent for SW, but I agree that some kind of slash mark on the mooks is essential, it just doesn't look like Luke's doing any damage as it is right now.
And damn do those new backgrounds make a massive, massive difference. I've never realised how lifeless the original looks. More great work vaderios.

It is a bit of an odd way to bump your own ideas but who I am I to talk I used to deliberately wear odd socks in the eighties?
Adding a few new skiffs and maybe a second smaller barge would make the party seem more like a decadent joyride (the palace seems to hold a lot of people some of which may not be important enough to travel with Jabba or might want to show off their own ships). Having more people there could crank up the threat when Luke turns on the Jedi charm.
Though as always it would be a lot of work intergrating it into the existing elements in a convincing way.

Heck, it could be the Mos Espa arena. It's not really the sort of thing most people would do, but I'll put it on the list.

I dont mean to be offensive but its more like constuctive critisism, if you have an idea, how you demonstate that idea is just as important as the idea (not always but most). In other words, if you have an idea i would improve the way you present that idea because I could see what you was going for but I could not take it seriously.
