Yeah, i mean, i can fit like 5, maybe six people in my car… so even getting to the theater will take some time and coordination.

This isn’t important enough to you to buy a clown car?

A week? I have tickets for Friday.
Good for you.

WYSHS
(1 & 2 are really dependent on my mood, I haven’t seen The Last Jedi yet)
Now that I’ve seen TLJ (3 times), I can update my personal ranking:
(everything else : SWHS, Clone Wars, Rebels…)
1. 6.
2. 5.
3. 4.
2.5. 7.
3.9. 3.9.
4. 3.
5. 2.
6. 1.
7. 2.5.
* 4, 5, 6 = DE
** 1, 2, 3 = Edit
(2.5 is The Clone Wars; 3.9 is R1. I have not watched the Ewok films.)
Many people apparently actually like The Phantom Menace, but it is below AOTC for me because it can be entirely skipped from a SW marathon and no story would be missed. One might say the same for Rogue One, but I feel it adds to an already intesting story while TPM adds little more than fluff and nonsense to a backstory that’s just kind of okay.
Also, I only consider watching prequel edits that implement The Cutter’s idea of not-killing-Padme in 3 and edits of 1 and 2 that match up with said qualifying edits of 3. I don’t mix and match prequel editors’ projects, generally because there are nuances in the stories that don’t fit when you do that.
The Clone Wars film is at the bottom because I can’t stand the Ziro character (why doesn’t he speak Huttese; and why is his voice so annoying?) and the plot of rescuing Jabba’s baby is stupid.

I’m sure we’ll see a more confusing list in the future but for now this is the winner. Also you seem to be ranking based on nothing more than trying to be clever. Unless that’s a complete coincidence, which I doubt.

Yes.
But the order of them still stands. R1 falls below TFA because I can’t invest any further in the characters than in that single film, even though I like the story better. TFA’s characters basically have more future potential which makes them more interesting.
And Jedi is my favorite because (the original cut of) Jedi has always been my favorite except for periods immediately following release of the modern films.

Thanks.
I did once have ROTS at the top because I watched (an edit of) it so often to get my occasional SW fix. But then I watched the whole of The Clone Wars TV series and realized how bad Hayden’s acting truly is compared to Matt Lanter who voiced the animated character.

- TLJ (I’m so disappointed, it is not a bad movie, it’s just not a Star Wars movie)
But… you’ve already seen it 3 times?

I booked my tickets 2 months ago…
3D IMAX, 2D and french version
I’ve rewatched SW-TFA this week to prepare for TLJ, which I’ll see this afternoon. The rest I’m ranking from memory.
SW, ESB - 5/5
TFA - 4/5
ROTJ, R1 - 3.5/5
TPM - 2/5
ROTS - 1.5/5
AOTC - Garbage chute/5
.
TLJ is going to fall somewhere between 3 and 5 for me. I’m sure I like it more than R1 and the prequels, and less than SW and ESB. I’m going to have to see it a few more times before I decide where to put it with regard to TFA and ROTJ.
Currently, but I know this will change because TLJ absolutely NEEDS two or more viewings before I can fully digest it:
If it weren’t for that one thing I’ve been constantly bitching about since the movie ended last night (see my first post in the review thread, it’s a super spoilery complaint), it’d be above TFA right now. Hopefully it’s a thing I can come to terms with, but I honestly don’t know if I’ll ever be able to.
I loved TLJ. I can’t wait to go see it again.
I really don’t like ranking so soon but I feel like I have a good idea where I’d slot it.
1/2. ANH/TESB
3. ROTJ
4. ROTS
5. TPM
6. AOTC
7. TCW
8/9. TFA/TLJ
10. R1
1. 6.
2. 5.
3. 4.
2.5. 7.
3.9. 3.9.
4. 3.
5. 2.
6. 1.
7. 2.5.* 4, 5, 6 = DE

The Truman Capote voice was George’s idea. 😛
I swear I’m the only one around here who likes Ziro. Pity that slutty Sy Snootles killed him. 😕
Where were you in '77?
UPDATE:
The Last Jedi was on par with TFA until somwhere halfway through, and then it edged TFA out entirely. But it doesn’t beat the OOT.
