I don’t think Bernie bros necessarily lost the election for her, but they didn’t help. The Hitlerly is the devil sort of rhetoric they pushed really demonized her for a lot of people. I mean, yeah she’s not great, yeah she’s a two faced politician, but people got too caught up on that narrative and failed to see how much worse the alternative was.
I don’t think anyone needs chaos on this scale. What is happening to the country now is abhorrent. Just because the DNC slipped too far into the status quo doesn’t mean they, or any of the millions of Americans being affected, deserve what is happening now.
What exactly is happening now? What “abhorrent” things are going on because of the Trump administration? I must have missed it whatever it is. I mean, If you don’t like him or what he’s doing, that’s fine, but I don’t have any recollection of some mass suffering that began to occur in America after Trump’s first couple weeks in office.
I guess you aren’t a Muslim who lives here and couldn’t get back in. Or a Mexican mother separated from her children. Or a Mexican woman with a brain tumor kicked out of the country. Or an Indian man shot and killed just because he was in this country working for Garmin. Or a trans student who can’t use the correct bathroom anymore. Or live in a place where your drinking water can now be lawfully poisoned by coal companies. There’s also this.
I bet there’s lots more I’m forgetting as well…
