I much prefer the idea of 3, 2 hour movie blocks as I like my movie closer to the 2 hour form than the 3. LOTR was supposed to be the oddity, not the norm.

I realise this is a matter of preference but you already have EddieDean’s Andor Movie Omnibus though who is making 8 - 2 hr movies (first 4 completed). In this case only the last 2 would be the oddity with a 2 hr run time, as smudger’s first 2 Andor edits of season 1 were both 3 hrs (and there are plenty of 3hr movies besides lotr, btw.). I just personally fear too much integral parts of the story might be lost if you force all the movies to a uniform standard unnaturally (as there are fewer movies planned here than in EddieDean’s edit’s case).
But I am after all only giving my opinion, it’s smudger’s edit and final decision ofcourse.

The Clone Wars: Refocused [COMPLETE]
Time

Hi! Sorry if this was already covered in the thread (probably was) but there’s >100 pages to go through… : Does this restructured version of the Clone Wars include the entire Saw Guerera arc from that show (I’m aware the character continues to feature in Rebels and Bad Batch so I’m only asking about his CW appearances)?
I recently saw a post listing 4 (I think) episodes total of CW that he’s in, but in the excel breakdown provided here I can only see 2 mentioned, so that’s what got me unsure. I suppose that just means 2 restrucured episodes that contain material from the original 4?

Thanks a lot and sorry again for asking something that was probably covered already!

Why not leave the 1st movie at 2:45 length and the other 2 can be ~2 hrs long? Is there a reason why they should all conform to a specific predetermined length? Sounds like a self imposed rule that only has a real practical purpose for tv broadcasting. Even the actual Andor episodes vary in length since they’re made for streaming.
My personal view is why not go for leaving in as much character development and narative building as possible while cutting all the not strictly necesary ‘fat’ as possible, and not worrying about a fixed run time of the individual movies (as long as they’re around 3 hrs at most).

Great work btw. Thanks for the effort and enthusiasm! 😃
