Yes, we did include the (black background) Overture with Ilia's theme.
well, it would have been outrageous if you didn't....... ;)
yes,i agree with focuspuller.
and since the "original" vhs source is in already pretty rough quality it doesnt help to be compressed...
so if anybody have a vhs2dvd(s) transfert.

1) BACK TO THE FUTURE - BEHIND THE SCENES WITH LESLIE NIELSEN (29:00 minutes)
This exclusive television special aired in 1989 and was hosted by Leslie Nielsen. He was filmed at the famous Clocktower set at Universal Studios Hollywood that has completely burned down in the recent fire. The special was used to promote Back to the Future Part II during "Back to the future event" on NBC It's also the source of the infamous "hoverboards are real" urban legend that still haunts Mattel Inc. The footage was taken off master VHS tape (no broadcast logos) and is of excellent quality for such source.2) BACK TO THE FUTURE - THE RIDE (11 minutes)
One of the best movie rides of all time! This DVD contains footage from Electronic press kits from Universal studios in California, Florida and Japan. If you ever saw any worldwide TV newsreports, this is where the raw footage was taken from (behind the scenes, interviews...). Sourced from proffesional broadcast BetacamSP masters and DVDs.
just bought it !
it has been shipped today so if you people are interested i'll let you know about it
ok,news from France, nothing great but this flyer and all the infos i found on french sites seems to confirm Max_Rebo's infos

mcfly89 said:NeonBible said:And McFly's cut contains all the violence from the theatrical right?
That's correct! Though I'm sure someone will re-cut my version using the superior sources.
someone ?
who would be the best person to do it besides you ?
well,i'm afraid MrBrown is wrong about that.
i just received my monster box and i can tell you it runs 01:19:44.
quality,on the other hand,is really rought. To get an idea ,it is the exact / same master that you can see on youtube and probably the one "floating around".So it is not the ealier Yagher's cut.....
about the 4/3 and 16/9 versions,4/3 is open matte and as you can see below have some differences in colors
and also heavy compression, doesnt seems to be dl discs !
here's a link to some pictures of the set
http://www.dvdcollectibles.de/htm/hardcover_hellraiser-4.htm
i should receive my "monster box" soon,i'll let you know about the workprint picture quality!

hiphats said:For those of you "Close Encounters" fans, I have all the supplements of the CAV laserdisc version transferred to DVD-R (as you know, these were exclusive to the Criterion Collection and not available on any subsequent DVD edition of the film). However, right now it is spread onto 2 DVD-Rs as part of a fan-made project I did many years ago, a compilation of all the known footage (theatrical, SE, collector's edition, deleted scenes) from CE3K. I am planning to someday do a one-disc edition of just the supplements to supplement whatever DVD of CE3K you have. Hit me up if interested.
sounds interesting but is there a lot of differences with all previous dvds/br releases ?
have you consider adding portions of the score ,as it appears on the cd ?
meaning with the ORBITAL parts.
double...sorry!
hi ,just a quick word to thank you for all this work, great job !
now that i have thoses cut + officials cut on dvd i was wondering if you would recommand a particular watching order ?
Mitch said:Many thanks to all who put this together three years ago when I started this thread. I enjoy watching this movie more and more everytime I watch it. We owe a ton to the poeple that made this happen.
