Season 2 did exactly what I was hoping for – giving us a battle that we could end the first film with.
Hi can you expand on this for me.
If you’re doing one movie per season, meaning eventually 3 movies for 3 seasons, how can the second season end be the ending of your first movie?
That was (and still is) the default goal to the project. But for a complete cinematic experience, I felt that the battle at the beginning of season 2 made the best ending for the story of season 1. So my final edit of the first film now includes this.
Wow. Thanks man! Appreciate you taking the time to watch it as well as review!
Hey everyone! I’ve been gone a hot minute but I’m back, and the films are reviewed and edited! I’m trying to make sure I’ve gotten the links to everyone who requested. If you’re still interested, DM me!

Part One (of three) of The Shepherd King is in work print. Final run time is 3.5 hours with an appropriately placed intermission halfway through.
This movie introduces us to the origins of the two Kings, Saul and David, setting the stage for David’s rise, ending with the fall of Goliath and the subsequent battle with the philistines.
Alright. This project is finally falling together. Season 2 did exactly what I was hoping for – giving us a battle that we could end the first film with.
Currently, I’m going with the title “The Shepherd King”. Part 1’s first edition is complete. I would love for some people to give it a watch and offer some edits and suggestions.
These are good thoughts! As soon as I get it uploaded, I’ll send you a link!
This project is a theatrical cut of Amazon’s “House of David,” the goal of which is to repackage the show into cohesive, cinema style experiences.
This show is, in my opinion, the best biblical television to date. It is faithful to source material, while also succeeding with impressive creative liberties. It tells the story of King David’s origin, the house of Saul, his predecessor, and the early rise of his legacy.
My aim was to streamline the seasons, maintaining all of the best and most important story lines.
The project is nearly complete, and I have a work print option available upon request.

Part Two is in progress!

Hey all! Sorry for the extended absence! I’m trying my best to get caught up to the requests. They’ve also gone through some recent updates, so if you are still wanting the links or want the most updated version, give me a shout!

This film is the fourth of a long expected project, the goal of which is simply to repackage the RoP show into cohesive cinematic experiences.
The edits in these films are aimed primarily at creating cohesive, self standing, enjoyable cinematic experiences worth returning to in years to come, without removing or changing too very much of the RoP itself.
This film exists only in theory, though I welcome all input and suggestions, including a better name if one comes along. The main idea of this film is to take the events of season 2 surrounding Numenor and Isildurs journey as the primary storylines. Obviously, everything depends on season 3. So as of right now, we wait.
Major thanks goes primarily to Vranir, who has some great edits of his own.
