Dawn Of The Dead Ultimate Edition Volume 2-UPDATE Discs 1-4 (Released)

IDEAS FOR ANOTHER DISC

How about someone goes through this IMDB list of DOTD references and make a montage of all the clips together. Especially stuff from video games and there's 3 different Simpsons episodes that mention it. Volume 5 - DOTD in Pop Culture

Also, how about a DVD cover that matches volumes 1-4 for the 2004 remake? That way the remake will look like simple bonus material for the original.

SELF PROMOTION: Will you please vote for me for this FX Network Video Competition.
Time
Who am I? I lurk mainly on the fan edit boards. I've made a few fan DVD covers. When I download I always seed to a 1.5 or 2.0 ratio, so please help me.

What does this have to do with Star Wars? FX Network is owned by 20th Centurary Fox and they distribute Star Wars.

This post will probably get deleted, but I really hope you'll vote once before it does. I made it to the Top 20 of FX's "It's Always Sunny in Philadelpia" Superfan One Minute video contest. If I make it in to the Top 5, I'll have a chance to win the grand prize. So watch the video and if you like it please register and vote. You can vote everyday for the next two weeks, but just one vote would be awesome enough.

My video is called "I Wrote a Script and..." by track100. Click here for the video! Look for the video with this image:

Thanks to William Tracker for tracking it down ;-)

- Biff

You're welcome! That summer living in Italy paid off. But the name's not William Tracker it's WellianTracker. It's a take on the name Trackwell. That's kind of a lame handle anyway. Forget about WellianTracker and credit the find to

Tracking down links to DVD cover art on this forum
    Time
Is there a gallery or database somewhere on here? I found posts about cover art, but all the pictures of them where the display type (I'm sure you know what I mean. They look like they're in a keep case and are at an angle.).

I want files of covers and disc art suitable for printing or is that not allowed because it would promote bootlegging of something?

Highlander 2 Renegade Serious Edition (Released)
    Time
I think the humor works. Sci-Fi and humor are perfect mates. Think about RoboCop, Aliens, Predator (the pussy jokes) and Starship Troopers. They would suck without the humor. It adds chrisma. 2001 and Blade Runner are great movies, but you've got to admit that can be pretty boring and depressing sometimes.

Those henchmen are annoying, but don't forget that we get the pleasure of seeing them decapitated in one of the coolest fight scenes ever. That glider is way awesome. The first Highlander had tons of humor too.

I ordered the Italian DVD. Italy to the states will probably take 2 weeks. I will let you all know if it has it or not, once I get it. I'll make a rip of the scene for whoever wants it, if it does. I can do the sound too.

The site I got it from said 95 minutes. I hope Lambert does the overdub. I know he speaks Italian. His French overdubs are great.

Phineasbg/ HIGHLANDER II: Extended Versions (Released)
    Time
I live in the States. In this photo, the poster is a blow up of the art for the Region 2 release. All the rest are releases in the States. The cover in the top right is for the blue shield SE DVD.
The rest are all of the American VHS releases in chronological order from top to bottom. The left row is all Quickening versions and they are all exactly the same, only the distributor and covers change. The VHSs on the right row are the red shield Renegades, full screen and widescreen.

The article pinned up there is from a some type of video preview magazine I got free at a rental store. It talks about the release of the red shield Renegade on VHS and Laser Disc.

I also own the Region 2 VHS relase, but it's not up there. So I own a total of 8 copies of Highlander 2. I watched the full screen VHS of the Renegade version so many times, I wore the tape out. I'm gonna write a book someday about all my experiences collecting those tapes, but I still have a lot to collect:

I joined the forum just to say how happy I am about these Highlander II edits. The Renegade cut is the first version I ever saw. I hated the Quickening version after I eventually I saw it, but I honestly loved the idea of Zeist. I think most people are too bullheaded to give it a chance and understand what Zeist really means (don't ask me, because I won't explain it to you) probably mostly due to the horrible edit of the original release. I've been collecting copies of H2 for years (see photo), but this has to be the copy that I'm most excited to get. I can't wait for the Extended Edition either. So keep seeding and thanks so much.

Hope this gives someone some ideas for a new cover for this edition.
