A year later, so not sure if you’re still around… anyhoo.

I created the reconstruction that’s floating around YouTube. It’s sourced from the Polish DVD, which contains Polish and Japanese audio, plus the Japanese credits. What you see on YouTube is the best I could get picture-wise from what’s essentially a very poor transfer of the footage for DVD.

I’ve spent hours trying to get decent results from restoring and/or upscaling the DVD footage, but unfortunately it’s just in too poor shape. There’s too many blended frames which can’t be resorted via deinterlacing, or even running it through something like srestore in Vapoursynth.
