I can't stand the Special Editions...so they're my biggest pet peeve about the trilogy. Though, in regards to the *REAL* Star Wars film, I've always disliked one scene: the bit where Luke saves Biggs' tail. There's one shot of Luke and the TIE turning counterclockwise across the screen...and the next is an interior shot of Luke firing the lasers and from the window view the X-Wing is flying straight and upright. Not the worst continuity problem but it has always bugged me. It was fixed for the Special Edition release but the new shots looked way too CGI-ish for me.
