I love all of the enhanced shots but my god Lucas should have been reigned in. The Jabba scene in ANH makes no goddamn sense. He calls him a human being, plus we learn nothing new that we didnt already know from greedo. remove that & Han’s super speed neck from ANH and im perfectly happy with the edits.
I love the idea of cleaning up the movies, fixing composition shots but the Speeder scene in ROTJ sticks out like a sore thumb. The lighting is way off & it is the only issue i had with the movie even before the special editions.
Has anyone personally tried to clean up the speeder shots/

Return of The Jedi special edition issues:
I feel Return of the Jedi could have done with more edits, the speed racer scenes are very sloppy & the lighting is off, i wish they improved it.
Clone Wars an amazing show but Rebels is way better. Rebels expanded the star wars universe in ways we had not seen before. It handled the spiritual side of star wars in ways the movies had not.
TROS is far from perfect, but so are most star wars movie. It has pacing issues for sure, & i wish Palpatine was inserted into Episode 7 & 8, but take a look at the prequels, alot of what we love came from the expanded media.
I would love to edit flashes of palpatine into the 2 prior movies but other than that i can connect with the movie, it feels like a 2019 version of Return of the Jedi & i’m ok with that.
My love for star wars has stayed strong, and i am excited to see the parts be put into place to improve the movies.
I just finished 11.22.63 about 2 weeks ago, i think it might be one of the best books i have ever read.
King can sometimes slip up on the landing but this book in particular was 10/10.
I think Yellow might be my favourite colour lightsaber, yellow lightsabers make me think of the KOTOR games.
