Star Wars Sound Effects Archive - A collection of SW sounds for use in Fan Edits (* unfinished project *)
Time

I have 9 TB of storage. I'm not concerned with squeezing my 30,000 various SW sounds down to 15GB to help them fit on Google drive. I don't collect sounds for collecting's sake. I use them. FLAC's don't work natively in Final Cut Pro, Premiere, Audition, ProTools or most programs for that matter.  There might be plugins that work, but that's extra hassle.  WAVs work.

Not trying to sound like a jerk, but converting them to FLAC is a step that would have to be undone when I actually need to use them.  I hope that makes sense.

I think that is a great idea. I have received some sounds from a couple of people since joining this forum.  95% of what people have sent me I had already, but it is the 5% that makes it worthwhile.

All my stuff is sorted, or getting very close.  I tend to not always keep the video game sounds divided.  For instance, if I pull weapons sounds from different sources, they all get subdivided into a weapons folder (blasters, cannons, etc).  I don't particularly care which game it comes from.  When I'm editing, I'm simply going to look for weapons sounds in the weapons folder.  I don't want to have to dig to compare sounds from the Battlefront folder or Jedi Knight folder.

That being said, I'm not even sure which all games I have sounds from, but I have a fairly good idea.

Info: FREE Star Wars iPhone and Droid ring tones
Time

Hey guys,

I’m new on these forums and I wanted to introduce myself by making these original ringtones I made free to everyone, simply because I appreciate what this site does.

Right click to save to your computer, put into a folder somewhere.  Open iTunes and double click on the individual ringtone.  That should add that file to your ringtones in iTunes.  Then sync with your phone.

I have MANY more planned when time permits.   Enjoy.

For iPhones (m4r format)!

Hey guys,

I'm new on these forums and a SW sound collector as well. I look forward to any updates.  I'm a member of the 501st Legion and create sound loops for members in costume as well as loops for the sets we build for cons. The 501st Legion helps raise literally MILLIONS of dollars for charities every year, so any sounds anyone can contribute would be greatly appreciated.

I'm also willing to help divide and categorize sounds should anyone with the archive need help. This is a great project and I'm more than happy to lend my time.

For Lord Vader,
