Post em on archive.org they likely won’t get taken down.

Any old paramount dvd release with the widescreen banner on the bottom likely has the theatrical mix

Other titles
deep impact, black rain, Truman show, days of thunder

If you’re referring to the 2.0 tracks on those DVDs then likely they aren’t, Paramount created a lot of 2.0 downmixes of 5.1 tracks those DVDs had because at that time a lot of players weren’t 5.1 comparable and weren’t the best at automatically downmixing them

no some of the 5.1 's . I know the DVD 2.0 of Witness is a downmix cause it has the same SFX as the 5.1 and the LD has the original SFX.

Airplane and Grease had downmixes as well

Did Witness have new sound effects?

The gunshots during the shoot out in the car park are altered a bit to sound more modern on the dvd / blu-ray

Pet sematary dvd 2.0 might be original track not sure but I prefer it over the 5.1 on the 4k.

I recently had a scan done of the 1998 Criterion LD release of “The Game”, directed by David Fincher. A classic and underrated film. This release is significant as it includes a stereo audio track not included in any future release.

If anyone’s interested, you can download it here: https://archive.org/details/the-game-ld

A stereo audio track is on the ARROW Region B BD. It’s DTS-HD MA 2.0 May not be the exact one from the Criterion LD, but stop lying about not included in any future release.

Do you have a list of titles you own? Most have been already done.

Edited your beyond lazy typing, and lacking punctuation. That’d belong in a separate thread for Laserdisc preservations.

You must live a very exciting life😆
Pardon me for not being the best typist on a half broken cellphone

A stereo track isn’t available on the criterion bluray. No need to piss on him about that . Maybe he doesn’t have a lot of extra free time like u do to know about other releases. What’s wrong with u

Can someone look into getting the 35mm prints of the naked gun trilogy?

Paramount will probably release a 4k eventually. Likely a dnr mess but u never know. They did a fine job with ferris bueller 4k .

Speaking of ng3 that’s the only one that hasn’t got a laserdisc treatment yet .

FERRIS BUELLER’S DAY OFF isn’t on 4K UHD! MADNESS!
Digital and Streaming don’t fucking count either.

I beg to differ.
