jimbotron235, I’ll be eternally grateful for your work on this edit. Now that the 4k HDR version is available I need to convert it to 1080p SDR for my projector as I don’t believe there is a SDR version available for this release - it certainly doesn’t come on Blu-ray.

I’ve been trying ffmpeg to do automatic HDR to SDR conversion with the following, seems to work well:

ffmpeg -init_hw_device vulkan -i INPUT -map 0✌️0 -map_metadata -1 -vf libplacebo=upscaler=spline36:downscaler=spline36:w=1920:h=-1:peak_detect=true:tonemapping=spline:gamut_mode=perceptual:colorspace=bt709:color_trc=bt709:color_primaries=bt709:range=limited:dithering=blue:format=yuv420p -c:v libx264 -preset slow -crf 18 OUTPUT.mkv

Any tips to improve this?

Myself like many here have had a go at producing a Theatrical version but failed. Wet myself when I discovered jimbotron235's post! One of my favourite films ever - in theatrical form.

Would love to get a copy pretty please!

I'm sure I remember seeing AC3 versions of the audio tracks posted last time, am I correct? Converting from WMA Pro to AC3 is a nightmare!

Any chance of getting the The Darth Editous only edition of Ep IV? The The Darth Editous/ADigitalMan Hybrid Edition keeps getting posted but I haven't seen the other one. The DE looks to be nearest the original Theatrical version from the DVD source?

Doh! Restarted Azureus (had been running for days) and it fixed the problem, it started downloading immediately and finished.

I've been downloading OCPMovie's ESB, did well until it got to 99.7% but has just been stuck at that for 4 days! Is there something wrong? Says it has 20 seeds. Ratio's up to 0.568

My first post, just like to say thanks to the people doing these edits of the Star Wars films, wonderful stuff! I've only just discovered them.
Anyone know of what has happened with Darth Editous version of Star Wars, I haven't seen it around for a while.
