Empire Strikes Back Laserdisc
Time
I found my CED player at a garage sale over 5 years ago. The guy just wanted to get ride of it so he sold it to me with about 15 movies for $1. It came with Star Wars; Rocky; Empire Strikes Back; The Making of Michael Jackson’s Thriller; Raiders of the Lost Ark; The Warrior & the Sorceress among others. The Warrior and the Sorceress is a B-grade David Carradine movie if there ever was one. It’s most famous for having a 4 breasted belly dancer. My player is very bottom of the line. It only has 4 buttons: forward chapter skip; play/pause; power; & eject, or as it says on the player reject. When the player starts it sounds like a car that is having problems starting until the player has picked up enough momentum to spin the disc at full speed. Some of the movies play for the most part with only a few skips, well others can be seen in about 15 minutes. I only bring the player out when I want to show friends an older form of home entertainment. Because most people have no idea what I’m talking about, or they think I’m talking about a laserdisc.

CED’s were like laserdisc’s but instead of the player reading the movie with a laser, the player read the movie with a needle like a record. The disc’s came in hard plastic sleeves which had to be placed into the player to get the disc out. Once the player had removed the disc it would spit out the movie sleeve. The disc’s could only hold two hours. One hour for each side. CED’s were only around in the early and mid 1980's.

The Best of the Worst
Time
Hi I’m new to this forum

here are some bad movies I like:

Basket Case - a strange low budget cult film from the early 1980's
The Evil Dead Trilogy
Rock N Roll High School - It has the Ramones, enough said
Transformers the Movie - you just can’t go wrong with a movie that has Orson Welles as the voice of Unicron, a robot that eats planets
Tombs of the Blind Dead - a great 1970's Spanish zombie movie
Knightriders - an underrated George Romero Classic
