Just wondering but does anyone know of a torrent thats still availible for this or the Empire Strikes Back vintage edit. Would very much like to get these. If someone would be willing to send me a copy I would pay for shipping and send the blank dvd.

Hi All

Thought I'd let everyone know I'm still alive and give an update on scanning progress, so far I've been able to scan 2 of the SW read along books and records. As I got kicked out of my house on the weekend it may be a while before I can find the time to unpack everthing and find them again : ( to finish scanning. Another problem is that I no longer have access to newsgroups so I have no way to post them, If anyone one would be inturested in posting these for me once there scanned and formatted let me know so we can arrange something.

Hi Jambe Davdar

I was just wondering if you know what day your planning to release this on and if it will be release on alt.binaries.starwars . I cant wait to see it, it's the only other Star Wars DVD that I want to complete my collection, except for Returning to Jedi of course, when it's completed and released. Any info would be appreciated. Keep up the amazing and impressive work.

Sorry for the delay in posts. Took me a while to find my old star wars read along, but i've finally found them. I'm planning on scanning the books and the record front and backs. I Have most of the old read along story books that came with the records. not sure where they are since I moved but I know I saw them recently. I'll see if I can find them, if so I would be glad to scan the books and both sides of the records as well. I'm pretty sure I also have the Gremlins, and one of the indiana jones ones too. It may take awhile to find but I'll start looking soon and let you know what I find.

P.S. one of the Star Wars books is the one that came with tape the rest are the record versions, not sure if theres any differnce other than the record or tape on the cover.

I noticed you mentioned for those who requested dual layer copies..., I didn't but I was wondering if I were to send you a dual layer disc and the cost for shipping would I be able to get a copy? Any info would be appreciated.

Wow Ocp you do awesome work, I can't wait for this to be released. Any idea when the official release will be?. Also where can I get a copy of the OCP rotj cover shown in your post, it looks great. I havn't been able to watch the first two OCP movies yet but if your release is going to be out soon I think I'll wait to see them all at once. : )

I would have to say that I liked the 1997 se editions better. They were changed some what but the 2004 versions are a total disgrace to the original versions.

My fondest memories had to be back in the 80's yes the 80's when me and my brother were visiting my grandparents and we went into K-mart and found a bunch of the original rotj figures on sale and playing in the car on the way home. The other would be running around outside playing star wars with my older brother, being older than me he allways had to be luke.

Hi all.

I'm new to the forums and also new to editing dvd video, hope this is the right place for this question. I know that some of you are really good at editing dvds by the quality of your star wars edits, which is why I thought this would be a good place to ask this. The dvd's that I want to edit are non star wars related but the programs to edit them would be the same. I recently bought a teknoman (tekkaman blade) dvd set on ebay however the audio on the discs was not in english as specified. I have low quality wmv files with good audio and I wanted to know if possible what would be the best programs to use to get the wmv audio and use with the dvd video. Also what programs would you recommend for removing or reducing pixelation from some frames. Any information would be appreciated. Thx.

Hi All

I'm New to the Star Wars Original Trilogy Forum, I use newsgroups lots and have gotten some of your awesome posts. Last week I was having computer problems though and missed the ADigitalman post of Star Wars Episode 3 and was wondering if anyone could repost it for me. Also for anyone in Canada using Rogers cables newsgroup server there stopping hosting newsgroups as of Dec 15th. So if anyone could post it before then it would be much appreciated.
