A huge congratulations out to Harmy!! That’s awesome you got to work on such a high-profile film. May many more successes find their way to you.
No doubt this is going to turn out great. ANH and ESB were fantastic and I eagerly await ROTJ version to complete the trilogy. Super excited about the addition of B-wings, always been a fan of the ship, it will be nice to see them get some additional spotlight. Also, after seeing the fantastic Hoth Battle on ESB, I’m sure Ady will deliver a great Endor battle both on land and in space.
Just watched this last night. All I can say is wow!! A sincere thank you to Adywan and everyone that helped you as it is a great version and looks terrific. I especially liked the Battle of Hoth. Thank you for all the work you poured into this, enjoy your time away. ROTJ will be anxiously waiting for you when you return.
Not much of an update. Still busy working on the Wampa. One shot is virtually in the bag, the other is being a pain. Going to keep trying until the weekend. If i can’t get the second shot to work as well as i want it, then i will give up and switch to plan B.
Keep up the great work. I’m sure you’ll get it all figured out, nothing has stopped you yet.
That Wampa looks great!!
Any word on how the march to 350 is going? I’m not sure if it can be tracked, but it looked like he was getting some good donations in the short amount of comments I read. I honestly hope he gets more than 350 so he can get more than what he needs - we all know he deserves a quality rig.
So burned with ISO, it won’t play in X One?
Do you guys know if the 50GB version of Harmy’s DE will work on an Xbox One? This is the version with menus and all the extras. I can’t seem to get an answer regarding the Xbox One.
I have the .iso mounted but when I open through handbrake it says no video source is found.
So I've got the movie downloaded. Can anyone help as to why I can't get handbrake to recognize the video source. My previous Harmy versions worked fine, but this one is giving me problems. Any tips?
The canyon clip is great!! While I don't have any knowledge regarding frames and/or speed - this came out very nice.
The behind the scenes clip you put up for download was great to watch. It's amazing and great to see the fans come together and pool their knowledge together and put something like this together. Anxiously awaiting the final version!!!
Harmy, I've decided to hold off on V2.1 as I have 2.0 but I wanted to say thanks again for your dedication in getting this just right. I was curious if you have a rough timeframe for the blu-ray. I've heard about a month, but if I could hear from the man himself?? Again, thanks for all your hard work.
Just remove "A New Hope" and all is good for the cover art.
no worries here, as we have the fantastic v2.0 to hold us over until v2.1
Happy New Year and thanks for all the work you have put into this project, it truly is great!
these tweaks are amazing...can't believe all the tiny details you are paying attention to. Can't wait for 2.1!!
Harmy, how is work progressing on V2.1 I know you are busy with everything you have going on, just curious?
Harmy, how is work progressing on the 2.1 version?
^ one more bump for the top - anybody know where to find the ROTJ Disc label? Have the other two, ROTJ is missing.
^ Well said. Harmy put this together and shared it with us. If you would like to watch the movie (or certain scenes) w/ different colors, change them and have at it.
Bottom line, Harmy was gracious enough to do this and he didn't have to. To come back and bi*&ch about certain colors is a little low.
Slynger: Yes. The new version of the AVCHD should be up on Tuesday.
Thank you, Harmy.
Okay, I'm slightly confused. I will be downloading the AVCHD, but now it sounds like I should wait until the audio is fixed? Sounds like this will be happening fairly soon - any estimates?
Good luck with your final exams. As for the colors, I think it looks great and like someone else said, if others want to tweak it, they can, but I think this version of SW will be viewed as head & shoulders above other versions. Again, thanks for your hard work.
A question for others as Harmy is busy studying - how different will the AVCHD look compared to the MKV. From what I read, the MKV is higher quality, but I'm not a video editing know-it-all like some here so I'm curious how one will look over the other?
Just finished watching v2.0 and all I can say is wow! Thank you Harmy for restoring such a definitive piece of cinematic history, the work you put into this very much shines through. This will be how I watch SW from here on out.
Take a breather as you deserve it, but I am anxiously awaiting ESB and ROTJ v2.0.
in need of some tech support here - I am almost done downloading the MKV file and by BD player does play MKV files. Can I just plug my external HD into my BD player via USB and watch this if I am currently downloading on a Mac computer?
