I agree, you would've thought Lucas would've corrected something from the very beginning of the movie, with the Special editions. That was one of the scenes that sticks out as needing to be corrected. Not so sure if it would be easy to do though, although i'd imagine morphing between frames would possibly be the easiest - i may be wrong though, just an idea.
