That's alright. I'm still committed, so if I can, I'll try recording snippets here and there over the next few months, and I'll definitely finish it by the summer.

Hi guys. I wished that I had known to do multiple takes when i was recording in the summer because it took 2 straight weeks to record every single piece of dialogue with only 1 take. Unfortunately, I will be returning to school next week and will not have much free time to spend on recording. With all the stresses of school and work, I really could not commit as much time as I could in the summer. I really wanted to see progress as soon as possible, but I sadly don't have the time. It may take months to record new takes ...

Honestly, the lack of an good, new Anakin actor has plagued this project since 2005.  Now that you're here, when I am actually able to sit down and start finishing this again, I see it going much faster and the result being much more credible that it had ever been before with my voice.

My voice dubs will end up only being as good as your edit, and seeing the one clip on Youtube as well as your own samples, I have plenty of faith that our collaboration is going to be fantastic. I truly can't believe you've been working on this for so long! I really couldn't blame you for losing interest after 7 years, but I'm glad I can help bring some life back to the project!

I'm so glad to hear from you Trooperman! I can understand these past few months being busy times with work and family problems myself; all I was looking for was reassurance that the project hadn't died. There is no need to rush, as always the more work put in puts out a better product. 

As for Episode VII, if Hamill, Ford, and Fischer are returning, they're all in need of some serious facelifts (or at least diets).

Now then, the real question is, how much NEW dialogue you've recorded for TM - because that's the important stuff. To really get the most out of an edit, we need the entire original script redubbed and then additional rewrites that can either be skilfully placed over similar looking lip movements, or spoken when the camera doesn't show Hayden's face.

When you do release this entire redub, there's a very real danger of you being inundated with "I wrote this new line, can you record it for me?" requests so that it can be tailored for individual edits. Please consider this a pre-emptive apology for the inevitable request from myself :-p

Well, I actually haven't recorded any new dialogue. I finished recording all original dialogue in mid August and sent it to TM. I've been waiting for an update on new dialogue since. He also planned to release all the original dialogue on their own.

Haha well, I guess I should have seen that coming. It was a lot easier to record during the Summer when I was just working, but now that I'm back at college for the next two months, I'll only be able to record on weekends for the most part. But now worries, I've already put so much work into this that I'm committed to anything to come in the future. And thanks for the compliment!

Thanks, I appreciate it! Also, replying to your earlier comment, I'm not sure if I did do the deleted scenes or not. I wasn't dubbing from a DVD or Bluray, but a video clip, so mostly likely I missed those scenes.

Theres no contract lol so as long as I'm credited and kept updated with the projects my voice work is used in, I think it's fair to share. I'll be uploading samples in a few hours; would anyone like me to upload samples from certain scenes specifically? These can be either from Attack of the Clones or Revenge of the Sith.

Hi everyone; my name's Henry and I'm actually the voice actor Trooperman recruited to re-dub the voice of Anakin Skywalker for Episodes II & III as well as planning to record for his new edits. I emailed Trooperman about a month ago for an update, but he never responded to me, so  I'm a bit worried that this project isn't making any progress. I've recorded every single line of Anakin's from both films (it took about an entire straight week of work) and if Trooperman is no longer going to use them, I want to make them available for others, as  well as use them in my own projects.  I was really hoping this project would be successful, but it may have been too ambitious. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I should proceed? Also, if anyone wishes to hear some samples of my voice as Anakin Skywalker, let me know!
