I'm also sort of collecting SW action figures. Actually, I've got my first figure, a Biker Scout, sometime in 1983 or '84. At that time it was extremely hard to acquire such toys in my home, we practically had to fall back on bootleg figures. I still have a Hungarian bootleg Darth Vader and a (now) robe-less Yode (which is a pretty funny one due to having a pig's nose

It is still hard stuff to collect SW action figures in Europe since only a very small fragment of figures released come to Europe (I will never understand Hasbro's policy, it seems actually ridiculous). However, you would probably be surprised if you saw those rare, hard-to-find pieces you can sometimes encounter, despite all the difficulties, in e.g. Hungary here and there.

Do you keep the figures in there boxes, sealed or open them? I always open them cos I consider them toys, consequently created to be played with. And I do it also because of my son, who would find absolutely illogical to keep them sealed.
