are episodes 1-3 on newsgroups? i got 4-6 but don't see 1-3 (with a 100 day retention). can they be reposted?

edit: i am referring to the ~13gb 1080p wmvhd/5.1 versions.

The only thing I know how to do is use DVDShrink to make an iso and use it to remove various things or recompress the video. DVDShrink can't do what I want as far as I know, so I need advice on what programs to use and how to use them if possible.

How do I add an audio track from one DVD to another?

I have the R1 (NTSC) and R2 (PAL) versions of "They Live". R2 has an audio commentary track, R1 is at the correct aspect ratio and is NTSC.

I want to just add the audio commentary track from my R2 DVD to the R1 DVD. I don't even care if the PAL speed difference is corrected if that complicates it too much. Nor do I want to add an extra button on the menu or whatever for the track. Either I will select the new track manually on the remote or just remove one of R1's other track and put the commentary there instead.

So is this possible and is it difficult to do?

i'm sure there will be plenty of reasons for fan made ots still. either lucasarts will mess something up video wise or it would still be cool to combine the dvd oot video with the 5.1 soundtrack maybe.

hey, so did anyone make a fight club workprint dvd? that sounds really cool.

same for the blade runner ld documentary/supplements and any howard the duck ld transfer even if it's fullscreen it's better than nothing.

he force choked them and force shoved them away. it didn't look like he killed them. he just had to make them get out of his way long enough to pass.

i actually want to start a list of how many kills each person gets throughout the movies. vadar had 3 kills in his tie fighter plus he choked 2 people on his ship in empire. that's all i can remember right now.

I am not against extras and all that, but I hope someone can do a dual-layer transfer and use up all the space for purely audio and video, and possibly use the LPCM sound like the TR47 DVD since everyone says that's the best way for sound from an LD. Oh a static menu would be cool too just so it's looks more professional.

Maybe make a special extras only DVD? Or mutiple DVD versions. Wouldn't mind seeing a DL regular and DL anamorphic to compare if my widescreen TV can get better results from one or the other.

Is there anyplace that details every change ever made to the Star Wars Trilogy? I am particularly interested in changes from the original movie releases and the 1997 SE's, but I would also like to know all the smaller/minute changes made on the various VHS and LD releases too if possible.

This is a really basic question, but how do I create a DVD from the vob/bup/ifo files? Is it as simple as putting them in the VIDEO_TS folder and burning the DVD as a data dvd? I have PrimoDVD (aka RecordMax), DiscJuggler and DVD Decrypter.

I've only burned dvds from images in the past.

I am thinking about buying the 2 Ewok movies on bootleg DVD. Are there mutiple version of these like the Star Wars ones and if so which one is the “best” encode/transfer from the LDs.

Does Lucas ever plan to release these on DVD by the way?

Sorry to bring up bootlegs, but these are not for sale on DVD and are out of print on other formats (not that I want them on those formats anyway).
