What's the best way to upscale PAL video to 720p?
Time

I am just starting to dip my toes into the world of custom dvds and I had a few questions regarding converting PAL video.  I've been using Doctor M's amazing guide to help me through the process of converting some of my PAL video to NTSC (so they will run at the correct framerate), but I realized that I lose a good bit of resolution when resizing to NTSC.  Is upscaling the PAL video to 720p a better option with regards to maintaining optimal video quality?  If so, I may go the route of using AVCHD as my final platform rather than NTSC DVD.  Can anyone share a good avisynth script for doing this?  I assume some variation of the resize filter is appropriate?  I'll also need to adjust the colorspace, right?

I'm sure this has been discussed elsewhere on the site, but I couldn't find anything.  Please direct me to the appropriate discussion if it exists.  Thanks for any help.

Info: Hard Boiled and The Killer
Time

I just wanted to chime in and say that while I haven't watched the whole thing yet, I have sampled a few scenes of Hard Boiled and it's amazing!  It's too bad that there aren't very many true hd transfers of these HK classics out there, because I would love to see more customs like this.

As an aside, what software/methods do you use for syncing the audio tracks?  I've always had a passing interest in trying to put together some similar custom titles and that is the step that seems the most difficult.

Harmy's STAR WARS Despecialized Edition HD - V2.7 - MKV (Released)
Time

Harmy, I just wanted to exit lurk mode for just a few minutes so I can thank you (all all the others here who have had a hand in this project) for all of your work.  I've loved Star Wars since I saw ROTJ in the theater as a kid, but in the last decade or so it's become something of a love/hate relationship due to George's continued tinkering.  To be honest, Star Wars just kind of bummed me out.  Empire is my favorite film of all time, but I never had any desire to watch it (or the other two) because I just wanted the original versions.

Over the years I followed the work of Adywan and OCP and a few others, and while I respected and was excited by their hard work, it was never more than a curiosity for me.  Then I found your project and after watching Empire and Jedi 1.0 the love was officially back.  I waited until v2.0 came out before viewing Star Wars and have been following everything you've been doing since then.  I love 2.1 and I'm very eager to see the blu-ray (mostly because I know it means you'll be starting work on Empire 2.0!).  So again, a huge thank you to you and everyone else here for returning to me something I thought was gone forever.

Blu-Ray and other HD box size STAR WARS covers
Time

Hey all, I'm a long time lurker on this forum and Harmy's recent work has reignited my love of the Original Trilogy.  Anyways, I started working on a custom blu-ray set for the despecialized versions (although they may be come multi-disc sets including the revisited versions and Jambe Davdar's docs).  These are still in the early stages, but I was hoping for some feedback.  Maybe there are different images I could be using for the front?  I'd love a version of ROTJ like what you see, but with an imperial shuttle, but I can't find a good image.  Also, I'm not quite sure what info to include on the back.  I had the crawl text in the colored boxes, but it wasn't clicking with me.  Any thoughts?
