I have a Nikon Coolscan V. and a pakon f235 plus scanner. Scans at 2000 dpi. a roll in 5 mins.  Actually has a mode for scanning long rolls. I am very interested in your methodology for scanning, and how did u crop and combine the frames ? Do you plan to have sound ? I too wanted to scan a star wars trailer, but it's so expensive on ebay and hard to find. is there any service that loans the film.. so you can scan and return it.. instead of buying it ?
