Download GraphEdit, open it, hit CTRL+F, expand the sections "Video Capture Sources" and "WDM Streaming Crossbars" and take a screenshot for us to see.

This gets weirder and weirder. I uninstalled and reinstalled the cards drivers.
I also installed Honestech DVR which was also on the installation disc.
The first thing I noticed was that the HDMI input source was now missing, only composite and s video were available. Tried honestech anyway and zilch. tried my virtual dub - again nothing. downloaded a new copy of virtual dub 1.9, still nothing.
decided to try virtual dub mod and ergo a perfect picture but no sound. tried different audio settings -still no sound. tried to capture it but picture froze and no frames were captured.
Went back to installation disc and installed uMedia uTV the last program on the disc. After a bit of tweaking am getting a perfect 1920 x 1080 picture with mpg3 sound. Source is listed as Timeleak HD capture card but is given as analogue 1920 x 1080. When I record this the quality of Triangle is excellent but any stills are 1920 x 1440 or 4:3 aspect ratio which i haven't yet managed to change. When I record football the quality drops quite a bit. this is probably because the video bitrate is only 25.8 Mbps or just over 3mBps which is very low. the colours are vibrant and natural. so if i can raise the bitrate i might be good to go.
To sum up, the splitter and card both obviously work. So it must be possible to get decent results with some program. The search will resume if i can't increase the bitrate in this one.
Thanks for your help. Any other suggestions you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Triangle... love that movie.
Sorry to hear you've been having so much trouble. For a year! Wow. Your TV's HDMI inputs no longer work? How did that happen? Sounds like you and technology don't get along well.
I would start by uninstalling and reinstalling the card's drivers and trying VirtualDub 1.9 (not VDubMod which is very old). Then if that doesn't work try a program to actually remove the drivers (not sure what people recommend) and reinstall again. If that doesn't work, try it in a different PCIe slot. And if that still doesn't work, I'm not sure what to suggest.
I'll try your suggestions. I already have Virtual Dub 1.9.11 on my desktop so I'll use that. Just not sure I have the Proper Codecs now.
I have windows 7 codec pack 4.0.8 and Ut Video Codec Suite and XVID Video Codec installed at the moment. Will any of these cause conflicts? Should I only have one set of Codecs installed at any one time?

The splitter seems to work okay as I can see the movie on my computer. However I have been unable to capture it successfully.
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you but this has been horrendous. My 2 HDMI inputs on my TV no longer work following my attempts to get the splitter and card to work successfully.
I have installed and uninstalled so many codecs that I no longer know where I am. The Honestech software that came with the TimeLeak Card originally displayed the input okay but now fails to initialise the capture device. At one time Virtual dub mod could display the content but now, nothing.
Is there anyone who can explain in simple English and step by step what I need to do to get this working. I have been trying on and off for a year.without getting anywhere.
The links below will allow you to see some of the images I have managed to capture so far.

hi,
I bought a 4 way splitter last week that looks exactly the same as yours, and a Timeleak hd70a. installed the card and connected the splitter and tried both pinnacle studio 15 and honestech HD DVR 2.5 and no device is being recognised.
It may be that the maker has been compelled to stop stripping the HDCP in the latest version. I don't know. Is there any other way of checking that the HDCP has been removed.
thanks.
