ive completed the vintage action figure inpired covers for ANH and ROTJ, ive made variants like the used to have back in the day, mostly to be true to the original conception of course the free stuff isnt a action figure, but i think it fits the DVD collection well. but you guys be the judge! jury and executionner if you want to LOL critics can be good right?
Unfortunately, using the "standard" PS2 capture method, the only movies that can be extracted from Lego Star Wars I or II is the trailer at the beginning. Screen capturing/game recording seems like the only bet, as far as I know.
im going to my friend's house this weekend and we gonna try to cpoy the movie scenes through his vcr, and match them with the real movie soundtrack, hope it works!!
Originally posted by: kaine23 Pat, I found a set of vintage covers like that somewhere, I added them to my collection. i'll upload them and post a link when I get a chance tonight.
really? damn lol and here i thought i was being original. well if they are better than mine, i wont continue them
Originally posted by: ThrowgnCpr lookin good so far. I would tone down the blue and yellow on the front a bit, and is anything else going on the front?
well for the blue i wanna add a bubble effect on the Luke figure, like the real toy, and hopefully it will tone it down a tad. and i will add something to the front, possibly the cover of the movie.
ok here is probably my last attempt at STAR WARS for a while, first there is only so much vintage stuff to use and second i got photoshop and who knows before i learn how it works lol hope you guys like it, its fra from being finish, and im gonna try to add a bubble effetc on the front where the figure is, hopefully photoshop provides me with the means to do it
thx LexX AND ThrowgnCpr!!! i will look in both ur ideas, my friend modified his xbox 360 a lot, maybe he could achieve it. OH! ThrowngnCpr, i will send you today, all the prequel lego images i got.

LOL well i am trying to find a way to capture the scenes from the game to make them into movies, but its a bit out of my league, im talking to people about it. and if some people here knows how to do it, let us know!!!! lol

yeah i know i will get it and play around with it, im sure i could do so much more and it would be easier and faster. i saw what ThrowgnCpr has done with my covers and i was blown away lol they look so much more professional and "real"
Originally posted by: kaine23 Awesome. You planning anything Lego related or video game-like for the prequels too? Ok if i add these into the SW dvd covers collection I'm building also? Might want to change the files to jpgs also, too, just saying that's all.
for the Lego prequels yes, ThrowgnCpr who "tuned up" my original covers for the OT, will do them. for the video games, it would be hard since there was no prequel movies games for Atari. but maybe i can work something out.
i kept them in BMP so the clean look remained, but looks like ThrowgnCpr fixed that so i will repost them.
Originally posted by: ThrowgnCpr OK, here is a preview of the lego covers that I am working on for pat. I still have to do the bonus disc case, and let me know if you guys have any suggestions on these three. I tried to keep the original idea, just make them consistent.
AGAIN AWESOME WORK ON THE COVERS!! on the ROTJ back cover, the bottom right picture is from ESB.

WOW!!!! thats all i have to say LOL man those are freakin' awesome!!
PaulisDead2221 and ReverendBeastly, you will both happy the back covers dont have many images, 1 per cover, and im adding movie pics to the screenshots on the back cover so its a nice blend

Originally posted by: ThrowgnCpr with any increase in size, there is always a loss in quality. sometimes its not that noticable. You said you are using paint? I dont know how to do it in paint without making it look crappy. You can do it in photoshop easy, and then manual repair any pixelation if there is a problem with that.
Thank You Master
BTW ThrowgnCpr, someone requested the lego prequel covers, if you feel like doing them as well, i can send you all the pics i have. but its up to you im not a big fan of the new movies
here is the final cover for ROTJ, i know its kinda empty, but i wanted to keep the look of the Atari box, which they didn't spend a lot of money on concept art obviously
here is what i will do next, its based on the Star Wars atari 2600 games. i'm adding real pictures from the movies to the game screenshots, so it doesn't look too much like the game its far from being finish, but it gives you guys an idea
Originally posted by: bkev OK, I want to print out something like this (figure I should be more specific about my problems: And when I do, it's all bled out. Any program or place I could go that would fix that?
OH OK. you cant print those, these kind of images are for display and showing only. its from a software call IMANDIX
