The Original Trilogy Radical Redux Ideas Thread
Time

Would it be possible to eliminate the jitteriness in Obi-Wan’s lightsaber in ANH to make it look like the Prequel glowsticks? How 'bout the reverse and make Anakin’s in RotS pale and jittery? Would make for greater contrast and consistency. I guess it’s not worth the effort.

For reducing would perhaps require a misc algorithm. For jittering up would require minimal masking and messing around with the opacity a bit.

Star Ware: Eclipse - a new video game; set in The High Republic era

I simply do not get how some of you guys are just able to disconnect the conditions a game is being made under with the game itself, completely free of a guilty conscience. It honestly disgusts me.

Quantic Dream are a majorly fucked up studio, every sign points to that, and yet there are plenty of people who just want to bury their heads in the sand. Yes, the cinematic trailer looks great. But accountability is more important than entertainment.

I fully understand that. I just feel that it’s best we stay on topic. I suggest you start your own topic about this subject elsewhere here instead of having pages upon pages of drama. I agree with you, it’s just that it doesn’t fit in here.

Uh… Can we like… Talk about the game instead? Cool.

Though it’s a cinematic trailer and the final game may perhaps look different otherwise, I absolutely love the mood that it had. Has me quite intrigued for more.

I rarely know anything of the High Republic Era, so I might get around to checking out one of the novels in preparation.

Labyrinth of Evil: The Canon Edit - a novel fanedit (Released)
Time

Currently on chapter 36. So far the additional editing is very seamless. I have some notes on what I feel can be approved on.

 • I’ve noticed that Maul is still considered to be dead. Unsure if this was intentional or forgotten to be changed in the edit.

 • I think it would be helpful to have a chapter heading between the chapters before and after the events of the ‘Battle of Nelvaan’ for the reader to know when to stop and continue.

The Clone Wars: Refocused [COMPLETE]

Excellent, thanks Paja! I haven’t changed much of the original order at all, but have some questions!

 • The Maul content works very well standalone, with including these episodes between one another I feel boosts a fiercer danger in the background.
 • The Mortis arc being situated here I believe strengthens Yoda’s arc by perhaps having the viewer wonder later if the vast majority of the events in that arc were just a vision or not.
 • Scipio felt like a nice and slow interval, especially after the events of Ahsoka’s fall.
 • I feel the first Yoda episode would be better off merged with the later three.
 • Not much to say on Son of Dathomir. I thought was a great and small inclusion.

Ranking the Star Wars films
Time

The Clone Wars Series
The Original Trilogy is tied
The Last Jedi (The majority of the comedy wasn’t that consistent with the rest of films but other than that it was really fantastic to me)
Clone Wars Micro Series
The Force Awakens

Unsure:

Solo (I’ve eventually got to rewatch this again)
Rogue One (Same with Solo)
The Prequel Trilogy (I really love the what spawned from them (novels, cw, lore, etc) though otherwise not for me)
I haven’t seen The Rise of Skywalker and kinda don’t plan to.
