The great thing about this is that it could be placed in the film where that deleted scene is meant to go, but you could add the shot of the x-wing leaving dagobah from ESB, and then cut to 3PO and R2 approaching the palace. So the film barely changes but explicitly shows Luke has been on dagobah. Or it could worth with all of the dagobah stuff at the beginning of the film, too.

Do you think you could do the whole shot like this paja or is this just a proof of concept?

Thank you Rogue I deeply appreciate your response. Proof of concept for the moment though once I upgrade my specs I’d be happy to do finish up the shots.

Also btw if anyone has the majority of deleted scenes upscaled to 2K or higher I would like to know! 😃

Not perfect by any means though an attempt. Tried reinserting a cut shot of Luke from one of the ROTJ trailers into the film.

Cleaned up some dirt from the original footage and masked the lightsaber. Would most possibly be more seamless if I were to denoise, regrain plus maybe some upscaling, but for the moment this is a work in progress.

-Trimmed starfighter repair
-Trimmed Din’s test drive
-Replaced Din’s line “Let’s see what she’s got” with “I’ve got to meet up with a little friend” from later in the episode, then accelerates to above the atmosphere
-Wipe from the starfighter flying around the Starcruiser to Luke’s academy
-Removed all but one of the ‘Luke and Grou’ scenes
-Din hands the Chain mail to Ahsoka and then ends with a shot of Grogu reaching out for the starfighter. An attempt to leave the ending ambiguous before Season 3
-Replaced outro music with Mandaloian’s
-Altered end credits to display what’s seen in the episode

It’s rough and irradiating but wanted to create a concept of a potential aftermath with Anakin burning down the Tusken Raider village after Shmi’s death.

Trying to come up with a way to view Mando’s latest adventures without ping ponging between shows…

Editing Chapters five and six isn’t much as an issue as Chapter 7 wheres it’s sole focus is Boba protecting Tatooine from the pikes. Currently scratching my brain around removing the majority of the subplot without seeming jarring.

Any ideas?

Had my hand at reordering plus moving forward the Luke and Biggs deleted scenes to later in the film where after Luke meets up with our R2 & 3PO. Trimmed all traces of talk about the battle overhead. Both scenes mixed into one

To start off…

Ideas for a radical Dark Lord Trilogy edit. (Labyrinth of Evil by James Luceno, Revenge of The Sith by Matthew Stover, Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader, by James Luceno)

• Move character introductions from ROTS to LOE.
• Trim the monologue of Count Dooku being a racist to aliens from ROTS but keep his vision of a Sith Army.
• Rework Padme into being a stronger character.
• Trim down the chase of Obi-Wan and Grievous from ROTS.
• Remove the majority of the non Vader scenes from Dark Lord.

Though still in cinemas, Spider-Man: No Way Home has received some vfx updates.
