The Last Jedi- Full Movie Re-Edit
Time

Honestly, i’m less worried by his fixes than everything else.

As someone else said his videos are getting more and more clickbaity, he continuously promotes other channels like Geeks n gamers, world class bullshitters… ehm left foot media and others. All of which are very similar, pushing their agenda and really doing nothing than copy pasting articles in youtube-form. He speak of these as family and good friends.

That he came here just to promote his channel on youtube (which in turn promotes patreon and tshirt sales) is a bit shady as well. I cannot tell if he’s just a bit awkward and hopeful or if he’s really really disingeuous.

I may just be getting old and bitter and this is just fine but the more i look into it the less positive i become. I mean, i didn’t like TLJ (like not even one bit) but this youtube generation is a bizarre bunch of people. So much hatred. Jeez.

With that said i really hope i’m just paranoid and this will turn out just fine. I the meantime i’ll just check back here and do my best to purge my youtube recommendations.

Sorry if sounding like a grumpy grump. Peace.

I’m cautiously optimistic. I like what i’m seeing from the small “fixes” clips and his (Ivan) ideas are grand to say the least. Looking forward to see what becomes of the project.

Had to unsubscribe from his channel though. Too many “content creators” out there that seems to be in business with him, didn’t like where my YT reccomendations got.

PS. Wish you all the best Ivan and keep up the good work!

Star Wars: The Card Game // X-Wing
Time

So anyone who plays boardgames and/or cardgames and are infact not living under a rock would know about Fantasy Flight Games. But those who dont they make boardgames and cardgames(shocking!). Anywho, they recently aquired the Star Wars license.

So they're making a co-operative living card game based on the original trilogy and a minature space flight game with x-wings and tie fighters.

I'm stoked, 2012 is gonna be a great year for a boardgame and ot-fan!

(giving you their respective boardgamegeek links cause fantasyflight is messing up right now...)

What's your Personal Canon?
Time

Lateralus said:

star wars theatrical version. empire theatrical version. nothing else exists as far as i'm concerned. i use my imagination to fill in the blanks after empire. something more along the lines of what gary kurtz felt return of the jedi should be.

I'm with you in that the theatrical versions of ANH and ESB trumps all.

Though i include The Star Wars Sourcebook 1st edition from WEG in my personal canon. Also, i haven't read the Thrawn Trilogy but it's on it's way, maybe if it's good enough...

So Canon:

Star Wars theatrical version

The Empire Strikes Back theatrical version

The Star Wars Sourcebook (WEG)

Star Wars Inconsistencies
Time

theprequelsrule said:

One of the worst inconsistencies is the changing timeline. In the original trilogy it is implied that The Empire has been around for a good while; at least 40 or 50 years. The Star Wars novelization provides an interesting "alternative" history of the fall of the Old Republic and rise of the Empire. A much better one that the that which is presented in the prequels, I might add.

So what is the alternative/first/original take on the fall of the Old Republic?
