is troopermans version avaliable publicly or just to a select few?

A few things I have been considering doing

Repo men fanedit -changing the start to the motion comic and removing the stupid ending as well as trying to rearrange for a bit more suspense and a darker tone.

Boondock Saints 2 - just be a cleanup to improve pacing of first half of the movie and to remove as much of the annoying chick as possible

SSWR just watched the video. Fantastic work really gave it the OT feel

I once did my own little remix of magfans eps 1 (never released) it used the spanish track but any time I heard something that sounded like it was obviously spanish i reversed that section of the speech, oftentimes only like a single word.

For me anyway it worked quite well and I do prefer it, doing it at the end of a sentence really makes it feel more alien.

I am eagerly awaiting watching it. Seems like a heavily trimmed version. Are you going with something this heavily edited or will your edit keep most of the runtime?

nothing too major, there is just alot of blueish tinges to the scenes in episode one in battleships etc. it just appears a little washed out. Truth be told though I haven't watch my original dvds in quite a while so not sure if it's just cropping up in fanedits.

As far as particular features a few alternate subtitles would be great if possible.

its just an opinion but I never minded the kamino sequences, plus jango as a character is pretty cool, a scientific explanation is the way to go, i like the mineral idea, something that requires the humidity of the planet to form perhaps

so the droids could say something along the lines of

' the intermetallic alloy has been identified as a rare combination of elements formed under high pressure and consistently very high humidity, the only known region that could sustain this type of chemical reaction is the planet kamino

'Reinserting the analysis droids deleted scene, but redubbing the droid, so that they find traces of something that links the dart to Kamino.'

hi just a quick one has you paid any thought yo pitching down the boga beasts sounds during the seens of obi-wan riding or summoning it. I just thought a really large beast should have a more menacing sound

I am currently about half way through placing the dubbed audio a la father merrins edits over the top of magnolia fans balance of the force. I have also redone the subs pack but am happy to post up the subs pack for a roundtable version.

Once these aspects are completed I will be trimming more jar jar and anakin but this won’t be very extensive as Magnolia fan’s edit is already strong. Anyone looking for the uploaded dvd let me know

also FYI i completed a version of I,robot awhile back and its on dvd I tried uploading to rapidshare but atm it is taking an eternity. Maybe I am doing something wrong?

Just a quick update on the progression

took out the horrible  'okaayyy' line in the elevator and fixed and trimmed up more of the scene and transitions

took out most o the first driving scene (no more... 'arseholes') except I am looking for some other footage from another movie I could splice in, preferably one wiht a car weavin in and out of traffic but its from the front of the car i.e. u dont see any of the bonnet... any ideas???

Smith no longer talks to the cat in the house

trying to figure out how to remove "how would a cat do this to me.. are you crazy' lines but it leads to some obvious jump cuts

trimmed out most of the talkin in the second car scene i.e. 'u like that... huh'

will use original ending (I thought hardwired was too abrupt after such a nice buildup) and start editing out taht as i need

yeah I don't know I was watching Hardwired last night his random bits of dialogue and macho talk break up the pacing I am trying to remove them when the movie gets serious its actually pretty engaging and unnerving

btw looking to extend the initial driving scene to the Robot storage (I removed the talking) anyone have any good futuristic car chases/scenes I can use as a base. I was thinkin something that you see the the view moving from the front (ie. couldnt see the car) could work nicely

So I watched the Scaperat version of I,Robot recently it is much improved but still has too much willy style for my liking. I am going to use his edit as a base and streamline it some more, possibly fix up a few jump cuts and maybe add in some extra CGI to the driving sequence etc to replace his talking

any suggestions welcome

update 19/08/2010: this has been finished for a while should upload it fairly soon, some cuts are rough and maybe I will do a v2 at some point

hi all just curious as to the difference in the different subtitles tracks? also I am gettting the balance of the force edit off link talk, are the subtitles hardcoded onto the picture or would I be able to switch in the different subtitle packs?

so i am thinking of editing, but only basic cut and pastes with some tidied transitions. If i want the absolute best quality to come out i.e. not lose the quality much compared to the vobs am I better off using Womble or Sony Vegas (Or alternatives)
