Indeed. But the project is about the saga in general, and not just ROTJ. I think it would be a shame to risk doing what Lucas ended up doing, albeit in a considerably shorter timeframe, of course. If you've already got your version of the rise and fall of Anakin Skywalker-story in the back of your heads when you eventually start working on ROTJ, you'll probably have a ton of new ideas to put into it.

Besides, I think most of us agree that what needs instant fixing are the prequels. The original movies are pretty much flawless, except for the continuity errors brought in by the advent of the prequels. And I would love to see your take on a better PT first!

Yeah, slowing down the burning speed does the trick for me - for the recent discs I've burned, I've used Imation media. Probably not the best out there, but they do their job.

Also, my Nero Express tends to complain about a "power calibration error" most of the times I burn something at 4x. Either that or that disc comes out faulty. So I recommend that you slow down as well. It may take a wee bit longer, but it's better in the long run. Grab a cup of coffee while you wait!

In case you were joking, I'm sorry about my reaction. My mistake entirely - not only is it difficult to pick up irony in posts, it's even more difficult if English isn't your first language. So I hope you can understand that this whole AWK-business has certainly put me on trial! While I don't agree with all the bashing the guy got while I've been here, I agree a thread about masturbation is pushing the limits enough to warrant a ban! And vandalising other pages is even more sad. Never mind the strong words I posted before.

I have to say that the change made to the ROTJ ending doesn't bother me per se. It's the way it's executed. Hayden's stare towards Leia is even creepier than the kiss on Hoth! And I still don't see why the continuity department didn't spot the eye colour-thing earlier. Why muck up the original movies when they could've given Hayden a pair of blue contacts? I like the fact that Lucas is trying to make the two trilogies fit, but his execution is half-assed. It's gonna take a crapload of new CG changes to fix all the continuity errors between 'em!

Well, I admit "bullshit" is a strong word and I should probably have explained myself a bit. It was early morning

What can sometimes annoy me at this forum is the tendency for some people to just get insulted all the time because they have opinions that the majority apparently do not agree with. I was probably kinda fearing this would just be a moderator-supported version of that. It's probably primarily because I myself tend to agree with AWK on a number of issues - I'm not trying act all grown-up or kindergarten-ish here, but I think this place could do with a bit of tolerance. I'm here because I want to see the OT's preserved. I cannot see how it is relevant that I don't really mind Lucas' changes (it's the choice between new and old I want, obviously), the prequels (I probably watch ROTS more often than the OT) and I enjoy "Light The Sky On Fire". Although that glowing penis mic is a bit weird.

But none of this really matters here, because that has nothing to do with the cause of the website. Furthermore, I've noticed that some people are chosen as whipping boys and are basically told to shut up no matter what they do. If Lucas and his crew are watching this site, they must be busting their guts laughing because all of this bickering doesn't make anyone of us seem intellectual. Be aware that this is just what I think. I like this site and its cause a lot and I don't wanna turn into that obligatory n00b who just says the site sucks. I've tried to give a reasoning for why I think like I do here, but obviously, your mileage may vary. I hope this won't offend anyone.

I suppose I was just overreacting there earlier, so I'm sorry about that. If people won't mind looking inwards and laughing a bit of themselves, I don't suppose it could hurt.
