Huh? What about the VFX changes that Selutron did? Were they just select scene tests to pitch a conceptualized idea, or are they scenes from his project?

I finished GoF a few weeks ago and am continuing the series with the normal Stephen Fry audiobooks; I must say I really miss the enhancements, I will definitely listen to the series again when you have completed all 7 just so I can enjoy your enhanced editions.

I don’t know. I don’t think Warner Bros cares too much for that anymore. I learned about it from Oliver Harper too. I heard Selutron abandoned the project, though.

This Luke impression isn’t the best, but perhaps they can pull of the ‘Birth’ part in the line we’ve been trying to fix.

I know Hal doesn’t necessarily want impressions, but if he were to record the line and infuse the “birth” part with Mark Hamill’s spoken line, it can work.

Thanks! I actually started work on the project in July 2019, and I was planning on posting this thread once all seven books were finished. However, I decided to post it early since I felt I was robbing others from getting the chance to check them out.

Can someone here please post the link that someone put in the thread where they tried doing an impression of Mark Hamill saying that line? I can’t find it anywhere.

Another thing worth mentioning about the whole “sensed the death of her son” thingy is that the film is built around it. Leia’s body doesn’t vanish until Ben’s does because that’s when she’s completed her “Jedi path”. Yes, it may be stupid, but it’s just the way they made the film.

I know, but to me, it also came off as if Leia could see things before they happen like Anakin did. She saw Ben die like how Anakin saw Padmé die.

I found a source that could be helpful if anyone here wants to play around to get it to sound right. There is a text to speech voice cloning machine that has a cloned sample of Mark Hamill as the Joker. Maybe someone here can do a better job than me.

It’s not a bad flow, I just think moving Kylo Ren’s redemption to later gives him more time to think and reconsider. Plus, I kinda think Finn and Poe’s scenes should be reversed before they talk about Occhi. But hey, that’s just my opinion.

Onboard with a restructure similar to this, works well. Have been hoping for Palpatine’s hologram call with Pryde to salvaged with the elimination of Kajimmi destruction I like how it cuts back to the memory restoration scene.

I personally still like moving Kylo Ren’s redemption to later on, as I feel the transition from Rey getting confidence to going back to what has happened to Ben means a great deal. I never really liked how sudden they redeemed Ben, as I feel that having a longer time to think and reconsider makes the scene play out stronger.

Hal removed the destruction of Kijimi from his edit. I also split Threepio and Artoo’s scenes apart and replaced Threepio’s line, “Under no circumstances” with “Full of surprises, aren’t you” (taken from the Lego game). I also added in ariel stock footage of jungle/forest scenery for Ajan Kloss as Chewie cries out.

A year ago, I posted a video to showcase a better way of restructuring the aftermath of Leia’s death. I decided to update it since many of the elements done in the original video are slightly primitive. I know this may not too much since this is your edit, Hal, and you can do whatever you’d like, but I’d still like to at least show it off for everyone to see.
