Star Wars Episode III: Labyrinth Of Evil (Finished!)
Time

I do have something to say about V6 that sounds a bit jarring. It’s nice that the brief shot of Grievous launching the escape pods is back, but the line that is pulled from The Clone Wars does sound very different compared to how he sounds in the rest of the movie. I think they used a slightly different modification on Matthew Wood’s voice in the show compared to Revenge of the Sith. It’s sounds far more exaggerated in the effect.

As obsessive as I can get about certain things, the reality is that I can’t be steward of this metaproject forever, and so with V6 I fully intend to set the prequels down and just let whoever wishes to take up the craft going forward cull whatever they wish from them. They’ll be my ultimates, of course, but there’ll never be an end of the line.
Even if IX ends up requiring me to go back again, say if the plot crucially involves midichlorians or something, I’d probably just reckon those as V6.1.

I can assure you that there will be no mention of midi-chlorians.

STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED ADYWAN *720p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION

Will a 1080p version of the trilogy get a release too?

No. RotJ:R and ANH:R HD are the last two projects Adywan will be working on, and both of them will be released in 720p and NOT 1080p.

Oh. Shame. I also would’ve loved to see his vision of the Prequels. It sounded really ambitious and different.

I’ve come to know something for the past two years of being a fan editor that I think many of us can agree on. Sometimes we go back to our previous edits and make minor and/or major adjustments and changes, due to our minds changing as well as our perceptions of how something plays out. It really makes me understand why George Lucas kept tinkering with the changes made to his films, as the same thing happens to how he feels about his work as we do for our work of his movies.

It’s a nice line, and has plenty of meme magic behind it, but this edit is from an alternate universe, after all.

Not to get off topic, but I don’t know why Revenge of the Sith has the most Internet memes surrounding it out of all the films in the franchise.

Because of the amount of poorly-written dialogue.

I still think Attack of the Clones takes home the award for worst dialogue in the franchise.

TFA: A Gentle Restructure
Time

Here’s a suggestion for a new version. In the novelization of the film, during Rey’s Force vision, she hears a voice, that I believe is very likely Kylo Ren’s voice.

"Once more she climbed to her feet, her chilled breath preceding her. From in front of her, not far away, came the sounds of battle: the cries of the wounded and the clashing of weapons. Then behind her, another voice. That voice.

“Stay here. I’ll come back for you.”

She whirled, glazed eyes desperately scanning the dark gaps between the slender trees, trying to penetrate the darkness. “Where are you?” She started running toward the voice

“I’ll come back for you, sweetheart. I promise."

What do yo think of the idea of getting a sound alike voice actor that can sound like Adam Driver to read out these lines for that scene? For example, when she looks down the hallway in Cloud City, she hears the first part. Then she hears the second part when she runs into him in the snowy woods. The second part could play out like this.

OBI-WAN: Rey.

KYLO REN: I’ll come back for you, sweetheart.

He appears in front of her with the lightsaber. You hear his last part when she stumbles backwards.

KYLO REN: I promise.

OBI-WAN: These are your first steps.

Episode IX: The Rise Of Skywalker - Discussion * SPOILER THREAD *
Time

I’ve come to realize how controversial and slightly toxic this thread is starting to become. I’m going to go ahead and unsubscribe. It was great being subscribed to the Episode IX spoiler thread for a year now, and I will definitely continue to go forth on this amazing site. Let’s all hope that The Rise of Skywalker turns out to be amazing, maybe even the best entry in the franchise’s series of films. We can only hope. The Force will be with you. Always.

The only true trustworthy spoiler source for TROS is RedLetterMedia. According to them, we will get time travel and it will get Endgame treatment! For my speculation, Than… No, Palpatine wants to harvest all Skywalker lightsaber crystals, and once he has all of them… He will become the most powerful Chosen One in the galaxy! Meanwhile, Rey and the gang have to figure out how to beat Palpatine at his own game and collect these crystals before he does! Time is of the essence to prevent Palpatine from Snap! Crackling! And popping his… old joints. (it’s a long time ago in a galaxy far far far away, so I don’t think they invented infinity gauntlets)

Or I’ll just wait for a more solid trailer to come out.

RedLetterMedia is also very well known for trolling with their fans, but not in a dirty way, more of a humorous way.
