The volume level on Threepio’s new line sounds too low. It came off as quiet on playback.

Thanks for editing out calling me an ‘arsehole’ and other abuse in your original post.
‘Sarcasm and passive aggressive comments’? No - I simply directed you to some links on how to do things on here. If providing you with that information leads you to write what you originally posted… then you may want to have a look at yourself… rather than deflect blame onto others who make an effort to provide info and links to others on here.
No need to apologise for ‘not reading the rules’, or ‘missing them’ etc… though the instructions posted by Master Lawdog in his opening post of this thread were pretty clear:-
Go easy on them. Many people asking are brand new to the site and don’t exactly know how it all works at first.
These are great edits! Awesome to see this many versions…with more to come!
Thank you for the kind feedback! Much appreciated.
Hello, it seems to be an excellent work. I would like to know, how can I download this edition of yours?
I have not even started work on this edit.
How about mine? I saw the prison break episode from Andor, so I should be good? Heck, I’ve even gotten into the old Expanded Universe novels during my jail time.
It is now time to revive this thread because the unknown editor has now completed a brand new 165 min. edit of SII, the long-in-the-works version called “The Black Cut”.
What is “The Black Cut”? This new version attempts to merge as much existing footage from both the Richard Donner and Richard Lester shoots as possible to create a new, longer story.
As you know, both released theatrical versions of SII stand out on their own, but even with footage missing (but later restored to various TV and digital edits), neither film is the complete story. This new “Black Cut” is.
It restores much of the original opening of the Lester version with Krypton and Paris, clarifies the Niagara Falls storyline missing from the Donner cut, restores nearly all the footage from the TV cuts, rearranges the film’s midsection with Superman losing his powers, incorporates both Marlon Brando and Susannah York’s scenes, a much longer finale with the Battle of Metropolis Road and the Fortress, and combines the endings of both the Lester and Donner cuts you will have to see and believe, literally.
A majority of the film is presented in its original 2.35:1 Panavision ratio, while sequences that could not be presented in the full AR are in the 1:33.1 TV ratio, but those particular additions are minimal at best and should not distract you from your enjoyment of the new “Black Cut”.
If you are interested in this, PM me. It will only be up for a short time.
I’ve never heard of this before.
710 pages now! Holy crap!
I now own the prelude novels these edits take their titles from.
Watching an Anime of a New Hope would be a guilty pleasure. The Lightsaber fights would be intense

Hey dude check this out. This guy did an amazing job drawing the Hogwarts grounds and hogsmeade village from the books. He did everything to make it as book accurate as possible and it paid off.
Very interesting.
Is this discussion still active? I wonder if the project is finished and where to watch it?
Yes, this project is still active, though it is currently on pause.
Merry Christmas, Adywan! I didn’t check, but is Beru’s mono voice still in this new version?
Weird. I remember past versions looking less green and blue. Also, I apologize for mentioning this right around Christmas, Hal.
It looks like the color correction hasn’t been applied during the opening scenes on Ajan Kloss yet either. Same with the Falcon’s mission. Might be best to go through V5 and color correct it with the LUTs again.
If true, a mistake. At what point do you notice it’s not there? Like what part of the movie?
Hard to say. I can’t exactly remember the original look of the Blu-ray, but I did wonder why Exegol was looking very blue in the end than gray. I think it’s when Rey arrives in the X-wing up to when the fleet arrives. It might be best to double check the sequence when the Ghosts arrive, because the LUT is there after Palpatine is dead.
Het there! It’s been a while since I’ve replied here on the thread. I just noticed that the color grade LUT for Exegol hasn’t been applied during the film’s climax in V5. Is there any reason why that is?
Message deleted!
I didn’t mean to post the link here. My bad! 😅
You really did a beautiful job 🥹
Thank you for your kind words.
I requested a link for you on Reddit, but it appears as though I cannot access it anymore. I think you may have sent me a link through the other stuff you’ve given me, but if you Haven’t, may you please? 😃
I have sent you a private message. Kindly please stop spamming this thread topic.
Who made the Palpatine face transformation shot where his face goes from normal to monstrous?
I’m gonna use it for my own edit and want to credit the artist.
I believe it was made by Sade1212.
Whoever uploaded these onto Spotify, please don’t do something like that again. Same with iTunes.
I’m taking a look at V8. The deleted scenes don’t seem to have the color correction/grading that V7 had.
What a career and legacy he has had!
I’ve just finished listening to the last book. Thank you so much for your hard work on all the books. You got better and better in my opinion and I will probably keep listening and recommending your work. Is there any other project you’re working on or you’ve finished? Thanks again, you’re awesome!
Thank you so much for the kind compliments. Currently, I’ve been working on updating my own personal Star Wars edits, though I also need to get back and tend to the Batman projects I announced almost two years ago.
What exactly is new in V5’s workprint?
