On a separate note, I have recently indulged in a 4K upscaling projector, and my goodness, even at 720p, the image quality of the Despec. edition projected at 160" is something to behold. Star Wars was meant to be viewed big!

Yes, those are the original versions of the blurays, before I had all the amazing feedback from the crew at ot.com and gave them a total overhaul. Search Myspleen again, under my user name, and you’ll find all the recent versions.
And for those interested in projectors, I settled on the Epson 6040UB (the TW9300W in Australia). It has really good quality 4k upscaling, but doesn’t cost anything near what most of the true 4k projectors do.
You can swap out the video using multiAVCHD. This is the program I used to swap in Harmy’s video track and the DTS audio tracks, after building the blurays in Adobe Encore.

Ok I’m shutting the MEGA accounts down. This whole thing has gotten out of hand.
It’s really quite upsetting to see these sets selling on Ebay. I put in so many hours creating it, happy to share it freely with fellow fans, but to see guys making big bucks off it… Really quite depressing. And I feel like this exposes me to risk of Disney’s wrath in a way I had not feared before.
I have no answer to this, just sharing the feels.

I don’t know if this has been asked but NJVC have you considered making a custom prequel trilogy blu-ray set? Having episodes I,II, and III with the same menu and bonus material format that you did for the Despecialized Editions would really be awesome.
Sorry mate, not going to happen. L8wrtr’s edits are my go to. I made the blurays for his versions if interested to seek those out, but they don’t have the same set of features as the OT ones.

Each to their own, but I am not comfortable receiving a single dollar for anything related to this set, for the reason that it could be considered profiting, even if just covering materials.
Great to know you guys are enjoying them. Post pictures of your set if you’ve printed the artwork, would be keen to see.
I’ll upload a tutorial video on replacing the video stream first, and if that fails everyone, then I’ll upload a new version for 2.5.
But if there’s enough call for it, an alternative disc with the 81 crawl version is doable.
Encore doesn’t do seamless branching, so someone with a better program may have to step in and help there.

Hmm not sure why that would be. But I’m guessing it’s yet another quirk of Adobe Encore. I use powerdvd, it plays them fine.

I’m curious to know, how are people finding the commentaries? Have any fav’s so far? I’ve enjoyed listening through the comedy ones, esp the Super Ego commentary for ESB, and can also recommend The Canon for SW, and Half in the Bag for ROTJ.
I’m fairly certain you have not burned my version if there is no menu included. There were ISO versions doing the rounds before I made these that had no menus or features. I suspect that’s what you have downloaded.

Is there a chance to get a separate download for just all the commentaries (from both the 25GB and 50GB movie discs)? I’m only downloading the special feature and documentaries since I’m using the German DeEds for the movies themselves and like to mux all those commentaries in there myself.
I’ll try to find all the audio files and upload them as a group. Will let you know when done.
Blu-ray burners are not overly expensive and blank discs are easy to find. I’ve had quite a few requests to make copies for people, but the answer will always be no. I encourage anyone interested to make a set for yourself. It’s really not that hard.
Btw, the MEGA links remain online for now as there have been a fairly constant chain of requests for them. Has anyone else been having ‘bandwidth exceeded’ errors trying to download them though?
