Not sure if you guys were aware, but I just went to the starwars.com site and the reference to the original crawl is still there.

"See the title crawl to Star Wars before it was known as Episode IV; see the pioneering, if dated, motion control model work on the attack on the Death Star; groove to Lapti Nek or the Ewok Celebration song like you did when you were a kid; and yes, see Han Solo shoot first."

There as I'm seeing it now on Friday, May 5, 2006. Maybe they put it back or something.

I replied to those dumbasses. Don't worry about it - for all of the idiots complaining there are a lot of silent supporters of what's being upped. Just make sure to seed it (and hopefully put up the DVD image file).

After watching Dr. Strangelove in my American film history class about a week ago, I find myself agreeing with the assessment that a very small proportion of the high school age kids in my class understood it. After it was done and people commented that "It was stupid" or that "It had no point" for God's sake, I was so frustrated that I almost wanted to explode. They had no idea of the subtle criticism of the fatalism that lies at the center of nuclear deterrence. I couldn't believe it and was almost ashamed that not only are these my peers, but these are the people who will be voting for the next president.

Where I was somewhat unsure earlier, 22 and 23 have really got me pumped. Most notable was the combined use of force by Yoda and Windu coupled with the alternate storyline of Anakin and Obi-Wan in a mystical quest. It almost reminds me of a Native American vision quest. Really cool, unique animation style gives it a strong focus. Thumbs up!

The first episode was fairly intense--it fluttered back and forth from action to drama, with the opening starting with the clone troopers and the end exploring anakin and his relationships with both Padme and the Jedi. Trying not to give anything away to those who haven't seen it but wow, pretty good start from the second season of this great animated show. Anyone else see it?
