If you mean that it appears a little different on the LP version edit, it's just because I missed the edit, unless it is because of the punch the RSO has :) (The Boba Fett instruments part is still the Anthology here, as on the version 3.

Oh I see, I didn't describe your edit, I mean on the original LP & SE the sound of Boba Fett's bassoon motif has less bass and sound very tiny but very clear, but I think I prefer the Anthology for that part of the track.

I'm glad I could be to some help;) I find it hard to comment on "The Training Of A Jedi Knight", I have to come back on that one. I would definitely go with the RSO-LP+Anthology on "City In The Clouds", both has the correct film mix & the choral part is audiable on the album version, absolutely incredible to hear the track in its entirety in your sample. (the crackling is not so bad) The instruments in the Boba Fett segment in the beginning of the track seems to have more "punch" to it somehow on the Anthology, I don't know, what do you think? The other two samples is also good but I prefer v.2. Thanks for posting the samples;) Keep up the good job!

"City In The Clouds" would be great to hear, didn't know about the shifted stereo shannels on that one, but the low sound of the choral section has always bothered me in the filmedit on the Anthology. You seem to know your Empire score, I just like to point out that "The Rebels Escape" has a minor edit in the end on the Anthology if you have not noticed it. (I'm sure you have) But the SE is a bad Risner mix so I understand if you don't use it. It also would be great to hear " The Training Of A Jedi Knight" (also a bad Risner mix, may I suggest RSO+SE for that one) Your mixing with the different sources is fantastic, You can't hear where it begins and end. A really good work!!)

Beautiful! Your last sample really shows how bad and weak the SE mix really are, the little segment from the SE in ICE PLANET still sounds a little weak but I guess it's unavoidable. I love your effort so far, looking forward to hear more from your great Restoration Project;)

STAR WARS V8 - A Final Attempt (Released)
Time

Thank you Arnie.d for the beautiful capture and for making this transfer available!

It's wonderful to see STAR WARS "smearfree" again, it was a long time ago. It's sad this Laserdisc had a few frames missing and a bad colortiming (but this movie will always have some sort of defect on homevideo it seems). Looking forward to your improved one, keep up the good work.

70 mm print of the Empire Strikes Back Differences
Time

I noticed a very little difference when I watched The Empire Strikes Back - The Special Edition on VHS recently. The blinking red light on the top of one of the buildings behind Boba Fett's ship on Cloud City (which is a wonderful little detail) was not to be seen. I'm so used to seeing it on the Original version so I noticed this little difference immediately, I have checked the 2004 DVD version and it's not there either. Is this just a -97 alteration or could it be a left-over from a 70mm print? I'm asking this because it would be strange to omit this little detail on an otherwise untouched scene.

I'm sorry I didn't have some pictures to show the difference.

THE OT SOUNDTRACKS SALVAGE - <strong>SW</strong>ESB<strong>ROTJ</strong> -&quot;remastered&quot;(so far)+ LP's (Released)
Time

JEDI MASTER REVEALED was part of CITY IN THE CLOUDS on the Anthology album and on the Special Edition it was placed correctly before MYNOCK CAVE, so you have it also on CD2 track 4.

Also, I see now that you have LUKE'S NOCTURNAL VISITOR twice on CD1, it was the second half of THE TRAINING OF A JEDI KNIGHT on the Anthology. This is just small things on a REALLY GREAT SOUNDING EMPIRE SCORE and it's easy to correct for yourself.

THE OT SOUNDTRACKS SALVAGE - <strong>SW</strong>ESB<strong>ROTJ</strong> -&quot;remastered&quot;(so far)+ LP's (Released)
Time

Thank you again for this set ABC!!

I've only had time to listened to yours & 7FN's Empire Scores, BEAUTIFUL!!! especially the Album version of REBEL FLEET as it is known on the special edition album (where it is remixed by Risner). I think you have done a subtle but great improvement in your remaster ABC, I like the consistency and the warmth in the sound compared to my own edit of Empire. Really great! I miss some bits of music though, (but you didn't say it was complete) The Ice Planet Hoth is missing a little segment but it's hard to mix in with good results and the already mentioned alternate REBEL FLEET/END TITLE. I don't know if it's a mistake or not but you have placed JEDI MASTER REVEALED two times on the score, one from the Anthology & one from The Special Edition - remixed by Risner.

I'm looking forward to hear what you have done with STAR WARS.

GOUT image stabilization - Released
Time

I tried out this script a few months ago (V.3,17) on STAR WARS and I must say that you have done an absolutely incredible job with this g-force! But I was dissapointed (or happy) when I saw that the diagonal streaking on the pictures INv8r_ZIM posted wasn't part of the "GOUT" because my encoding have the same problem. Did you manage to solve this issue INv8r_ZIM? If you did, can you please explain how. I would really appreciate it.

Star Wars Colortiming &amp; Cinematography (was What changes was done to STAR WARS in '93?)
Time

Can someone please explain to me what was done to the -93 laserdisc version of STAR WARS besides the THX-mastering and the new audio mix. Because I have read somewhere that they tweaked the colors and brightness in various scenes, I have not seen the pre-93 versions in a very long time but if I remember correctly the scene with R2-D2 and the Jawas in the canyon was much brighter in the old version and in -93 it looked like it was dusk, another scene I remember looked different was "Binary Sunset" that had more of an pink-orange tint to it in the old version instead of the purple color in-93. (If you own the new fantastic! Making of STAR WARS book you can see a beautiful picture of this classic scene, just like I remember it looking before -93) Maybe I'm completely wrong about this and my memory have come out of photos I've seen over the years or the movie was just colortimed correctly for the first time on home video in -93. So can someone please prove me right or wrong on this, because I've found NOTHING on the web about those visual changes done before  97, it would be great with a visual comparison.
