There is no slowdown on our release, we spent a long time making this release and going over it and over it, our US Theatrical is indeed 100% US Theatrical, this is my favorite movie and I/We wanted it done right, it was all timed to the US Theatrical DVD, plus all the cool goodies! and excellent artwork! so I hope that answered your question.

Absolutely. I watched that section of the release and noticed nothing wrong, but I wanted to double-check that I wasn’t somehow mistaken or missing something that someone else caught.

Awesome work, and many many thanks!

What a step up from the single-layer non-anamorphic Universal DVD that I’ve been clinging to for so many years out of desperation. I never thought the U.S. theatrical version would be so hard to come by.

Earlier in the thread there was a link to subtitles, but it’s now expired, so I ripped, corrected, and re-timed the English subs from the OOP Universal DVD to line up better with the TeamBlu release.

Incidentally, that DVD also contains French and Spanish subtitles, but I didn’t bother converting them.

I just came across this on another site:

“The scene that I know was from the theatrical cut is when Conan just burned his wife and the princess yells at him. Then a fade from Conan sitting to Conan prepping for the battle begins. On TeamBlu’s version the video slows down and a cut happens. This was probably due to lack of source for it to make properly.”

Is there actually something less than “definitive” on the TeamBlu release?
