Klunk's Star Wars Trilogy: 1992 Special Letterbox Collector's Edition VHS Transfer (Released)
Time

Thank you for this. I always felt this North American VHS release was the epitome of the Star Wars home video experience, as close as you can get to seeing it in the theatre with the scratches and grain, not cleaned up like the 1990s THX remastered versions. Until recently, I didn’t know this came in widescreen, so that’s a huge bonus. I always thought the CBS tapes were only available pan and scan version to fit our TVs.

Wanted: Lapti Nek: Club & Dub mixes

Ahh, you guys are awesome!

I was wondering if maybe anyone has ever heard the version by the band called "Urth" by any chance. They might have the sail barge sequence or actual version that is the movie dance scene. Any thoughts on that????

I would buy it and make an mp3 of it, but my record player has got more snap crackles and pops than a bowl of rice crispies!

The Meco version here sounds more like the movie version to me than the real versions.
