Song Of The South - many projects, much info & discussion thread (Released)
Time
I don't know if this has been mentioned, but here's an interesting interview with some guy from Disney (I'm not sure exactly who):

http://jimhillmedia.com/blogs/jim_hill/archive/2007/07/06/as-tarzan-swings-off-broadway-is-beyonc-getting-ready-to-play-aida-in-disney-s-next-big-movie-musical.aspx

Actually, things are looking pretty good right now for "Song of the South" to finally be released on DVD in late 2008 / early 2009. But not for the reasons you might think.

You see, what with DisneyToon Studios now becoming a non-sequel producing operation as well as Dick Cook's decision last year to significantly cut back on the number of movies Walt Disney Studios will release every year ... Well, that leaves Buena Vista Home Entertainment (Soon to be renamed Walt Disney Entertainment) with significantly fewer titles to put out on store shelves in the coming year. And given that BVHE will still be expected to make its numbers ... Well, that means that they're going to have to release something that the public really wants to get its hands on. And that, my friends, is "Song of the South."

Apocalypse Now - Workprint (now available) (Released)

I was thinking of bidding myself and could probably have the transfer done as well. I live in Europe though. I'm also watching the auction right now - I don't know how high this can go potentially.

EDIT: I wondering though: as I can see, these tapes can hold 60 minutes each, which totals in three hours which is not even enough for the Redux, so I'm not sure what we can get that we don't already have...

***Citizen's NTSC DVD/PAL DVD/XviD Info and Feedback Thread***
Time
Hi

I am very interested in Citizen's work and would love to get my hands on a copy! What to do?

I am interested in the PAL versions of all three movies i DL-format (although I can see only the first two are available at the moment?). If there are quality-drawbacks with the PAL-version as someone stated, I'd rather like the NTSC version (I am aware of the general differences between PAL and NTSC).
