Hey Digmod, I’m sure I suggesed this already, but the shadows of the Empire Main theme goes soooooooooo F’N good with the opening scene, I had put this theme to an early copy with one of JackPumpkinHeads crawls, and it flowed so well, I fell in love with it. I re-pourposed it to go with your crawl intro. did it real quick, ain’t got much time this weekend so it could defintetly be tweeked to work better but this gets the idea across. I hope you watch it. has a nice peacefull intro, then just enough Imperial march to let you know this guy is an agent of the empire, like everyone wouldn’t know already. So I just watched AC and my minds fuzzy but I had some questions people might have answers too, and just want to hash out some of the plot points. So discuss…

1 It seemed like David had created the face hugger eggs, but that cant be right because queen and eggs are frozen in Antarctica in AvP.

2 if he killed lady dr. And experimented on her why have a grave marker. If Dr lady hero was dead before he infected the planet, why plant the wheat.

3 did Walter join David or did David kill him? Mother recognized David’s codes, but he was also doing stuff as walter, so did he have Walters codes?#

4 was It just me or was the end a clusterf###

5 david puts face hugger embryos in the drawer at the end, where did he get the capsules that match. Why was walter taking them out at the beginning?

If you read some of the comics can’t remember wich ones, jedi would use the force to make unchared hyperspace routes. I believe thats how the sith come in contact with the rest of the republic.

Alsox3 the human mind remembers stuff sub conciously, you know the old x files hypnosis remembering stuff thing, kylo glean every thing he can, the force does the rest. Alsox4 if he gets close he might run into the Droid and his companions and follow them to luke.
I think that rey getting the mind trick from Kyle would reinforce how far they are going into each others minds.

I don’t want to sound pushy but I can’t help but request an update on the shaved wampa pics I requested 1138 pages back. Soooooooo, anytime soon would be nice.

Was reading your cut list, and agree with everything, that being said Ilike to add a couple of suggestions that irk me about the movie.

1 Hey Hey, Ho Ho, Captain Phasmas got to go! She is just out of place and unneccessary.
2 The escape in the Tie fighter/ Poe naming Finn… it’s too long of an escape, especially the blue homing missile part would be a lot better if they just got shot down soon and survived, Finn is just his name.
3 When Rey and Finn are running for the Falcon cut the Thats a piece of junk, ideally that’s the ship they are running for, Rey seems very familliar with it anyway like she had flown it before, cut the rough take off.
4 Finns Falcon quad lazer getting hit, if he was dak he’d be dead, cut that and just have the tie crash exiting the stardestroyer when Rey makes the hairpin turn
5 cut the BB-8 antics during the falcon escape scene.
6 yes the rathirs, rey does a wiring trick the doors close they run and meet at the falcon, you would need to make a shot of the falcon taking off without a rathir on it though. Huge payoff to the movie.
7 the prolonged Kylo/Ben reveal idea would pay off big in my eyes if it was just sprung on you much like the way i belive digimod is doing with his edit
8 I really like the idea of splitting the interigation mind trick. it makes it seem that the encounter with Kylos mind “awakened something in her” maybe a subtle music cue similar to the lightsaber deul would help. (but repeating the same thing would be redundant, be redundant.
9 Keep up the awsome work, cannot wait to see how this all turns out, Big thanks to you and everyone involved.

Update: I held the first part of the mind until trick after Kylo’s prayer, so now there’s a better flow. The first mind trick is essentially a prelude to the final interrogation now, separated only by Kylo stomping down the hall.

The major problem is that the second mind trick scene needs a different tone to account for her awakened power. I wonder if putting some music over the second scene would do the trick. Something subtle but dark and powerful. Thoughts?

Sounds like a good idea. Lots of good “unfamilliar” music on the shadows of the Empire soundtrack. Might be what your looking for.

Blue Yoda made an edit of true romance following the script by Tarintino. He did a good job but the soundtrack is anything but tarintinoesqe
I have been thinking about this for a while now, also it needs edited down as blue Yoda cut is pretty well every scene and it could be trimmed up Christian slater just isn’t up to the acting level of everyone else, well maybe Bronson pinchot, haha and the opening credits suck, the talk about fn elvis, comic store get the ax. And if possible change what Brad Pitts watching from days of Thunder to my best friends birthday scenes.
