Just some picks of my vintage figures, lot’s of varients, and bootlegs
Cannot seem to figure out how to add pictures to this post just these links. I am tech illerate.

I took a few pictures of my venture figures and thought “None of my friends give a s#!t about this stuff.” So I was going to post them on the OT, and couldn’t find an appropriate thread. So Here we are, a place we can all show random pictures of our collective star was stuffs. Just for fun. So let’s see what you got.

I suggest it everywhere anyone asks about music. Shadows of the Empire sound track sounds star warsish but isn’t as recognisabe could be what your looking for

Watch the latest Orville, with Charlie Theron it was good but the ending was proposterous, like, we’re at 42 minutes end it clean and fast I know it’s comedy scify but c’mon seth

I always thought they should land on endor at night it makes sense because would do a raid in the middle of the day you would think having the cover of night would be beneficial, I mean they didn’t even know there was a back door untIL the ewoks told them…when they got to the bunker.

Axe the ewoks Hans team is on a time crunch, no time to hang out all night in care bear land. And what did the other troops do while our hero’s were at the village anyway?

Another benefit to it being dark is being able to see endor prime and the ds2 in the sky, like when they’re standing outside at gunpoint maybe they can see the space battle above even the ds2 popping off shots making it even more dramatic…!!!
I’ve even thought about taking chewie out of the bunker, in the deleted scenes Han call s for chewie a lot. I would like to think chewie senses it’s a trap and seeks off and comma deers the atst.

That’s how they get free from being captured. Chewie just starts blasting away at them from out of nowhere.

Don’t want to distract from the Magik going on here but want to put this idea out in the air, I think I may have already anyway somewhere on the forums. What if Starkiller was made from the ruins of jeddah? The blast in Rouge one exposed it so they just built their super weapon right on its fuel source. Then the first order don’t have to drain the sun. It is ambitious I know.

So now I’m “hooked” on trying to find this damn cinemania scene with the swinging troopers but i can’t find it. Does anyone else know anything about it.

I went through cinemania 94, 95, and 97. Haven’t had a chance to pick up 96 yet.

Found this it’s some guys talking about how rotj could have been. Basically it boils down to this
Boba fett immediately calls Vader because the trap never stopped, Vader knew that Luke would go for han. At some point fett is about to out Leia Luke is enraged and force chokes him to death, scaring leia, Luke is then captured and taken to palpy, Vader explains to luke his friends are walking into a trap and the only way out is to join him and defeat the emporer, and Luke does, meanwhile han is going to rescue Luke and in turn is killed by Vader Luke loses his shit and kills vader. Leia and Luke part ways and Luke goes off on his own.

Sounds cool to me wonder if any of these ideas are doable

We know Vader wants Luke to join him, but it is evident Luke doesn’t want to. He needs the emporer to help turn Luke to the dark side, then kill the emporer, Vader really doesn’t think there’s any light left in himself. Till the end? Does Luke’s speach about his father before him do the trick? It was only when Luke was getting shocked he betrayed palpy. He thought about it too. That was his chance to kill the emporer. Remove the you were right stuff and remove aniline force ghost, and Vader never goes to the light, might work out well for edits of ep vii and 8.

I think this is incorrect. The emporer doesn’t know Luke is there until Vader tells him he felt his presence. Then he tells him to go to endor. And he has for seen it, he is bsing Vader to make it seem like it is part of his plan.

Side note on Boba fett… wouldn’t that guy recognize Luke at Jabbas and relay to Jabba that the empire wants him bad, probably a pretty hefty price on his head.

Edit the crawl to indicate there is a new death star and the emporer is overseeing the completion of DS2 Luke is training on dagobah, and the rebel alliance is assembling to attack the empire . Leia unable to contact Luke and needing to return to the alliance go forward with their dangerous plan to rescue solo from jabba.
Cut vader arrival
Cut Droid entrance and any instance of them at jabbas. Recolor 3p0 if he has to be present and cut his dialogue.
Move the Emporer arrival to the 1st scene.
Move Lapti Nek to second (old school version with different more appropriate music.
Add subtitles explaining that jabba found out about coded transmissions came from Oolas room last night,she argues, cut to a shot of Lando indicating it was him. he called from her room wink wink… she’s rancor food
Continuing with The Boshh interaction with the Han solo in Carbonite reveal added in front cut Droid scene somewhere.
Cut to luke/vader/lightsaber construction. Matte out 3p0 in cave entrance to be dagobah, then Yoda death
Add obwan would have told you if I let him line.
Cut Ben scene for use later
Insert/create luke feels Leia in trouble by his x wing/luke flying out of dagobah/luke talking to 3p0 on comlink, hasnt herd from lando chewie or the princess in days.
Luke entrance, Cgi a lightsaber on him, when he falls it falls off. He can’t find it. He runs in the other room, when he finally sees it rancor steps on it so he throws the rock continue to the sarlacc
Sarlacc old school no beak. Lando is now wearing the lights aber on his belt that’s where he gets it not r2 it continues normally but right when boba fett lands a Lazer blast knocks him off and he rolls into the sarlacc pit. Blow up the sail barge and make it to the alliance, luke doesn’t need to be late.

Fair enough 005, didn’t think about it that way, it wouldn’t work.
I think using footage or even a manipulated still of prowse circa age 50 would still seem appropriate for the force ghost.

• Finally, bear with me on this last one: I know Adywan intends to restore Sebastian Shaw as Anakin’s Force ghost. I understand why; regardless of one’s like or dislike of the prequels, it was staggeringly sloppy and lazy of Lucas to simply reuse existing footage of Hayden’s head that hadn’t even been aged up to look like a man who’d be in his late forties. Having said that…Shaw still presents the audience with the opposite problem: Obi-Wan standing next to his former student as played by someone a decade older than Alec Guinness. Is there any sort of visual tweaking that could be applied to make Shaw look somewhat younger, somewhat easier to connect with the character audiences know from either the prequels or the Clone Wars? Facial tweaking, more hair, darker robes, anything?

Replace shaw and Hayden with prowse.

Also someone else suggested using the “unseen” documentary prowse as unmasked Vader scene. If that ever becomes a possibility it’s a no brainer.
