Harmy's STAR WARS Despecialized Edition HD - V2.7 - MKV (Released)
Time

Hello Again

Thanks for your quick reply.

Well, as for Episode 4, I can tell you that the version I have is indeed complete including the end credits! Quality-wise, the recording could indeed be better, but still, it is better to include what is availible for now rather than ditching it!
Actually, the descriptive tracks which are availible on the 2011 BD release of ESB and ROTJ really are well done. They are in 5.1 and are a plesure listening to sound-quality wise! I Wonder if they could be recut to comply with the despecialized editions?
Concerning the versions you have for the SE versions, I wish someone would include them on some SE-releases as well at some point.

Please do let me know what you have descriptive wise. Perhaps you have the same as I do myself, if not, I’ll only be to happy to comply a complete version of EP 4 with end-credits.

Your project concerning creating 3 intirely new DVS tracks for the original trilogy do sound intresting! Please do let me know if anyone volenteres to do the reading. I’d be happy to be a test listener if you should need one.

All the best from Allan

Hello there!

I am so happy for this SW release! Being completely blind, it really Means alot to me that the author of this release did actually take the time to include the original WGBH descriptive audio for blind people!!
I was on this forum a long time ago originally whare I was looking for described versions of all 3 films, and over the years, I managed to find them and also did update a thred about it regularly. Unfortunatlly only the original EP 4 has description, and I believe some members onhere also did wanted to have a listen to it at that time, so, I am very delighted to see the description actually appearing in a release!
One big question though, can anyone tell me why the reading of all of the end-credits are missing? Given that the release otherwise is so perfect in any way (also with the many audio tracks to choose from , I love it and wish there were more), I am a bit pusseld as to why this last bit of the description track has not been included?

All the best from Allan
