Well, I had planned to watch this edit over a two-week period and ended up finishing it in less than half that time. I haven’t felt this excited to watch Game of Thrones in several years. My favorite quote was my wife saying, “it’s like watching the end of the show without them sabotaging everything that came before.” Having the changes to Daenerys and Jon’s ending left us with a significantly more enjoyable experience and made us actually decide to start rewatching the whole series over again knowing the ending wasn’t an exercise in masochism anymore. Absolutely awesome job DarthYcey on the editing and thank you so much for redeeming the series!

Just finished watching this and it lived up to the hype! In short, this was expertly done! The color grading was superb and really stood out, even when comparing it to my 4K disc version. It made the movie a million times better not having the ridiculous love triangle comments by Han, that always bugged me. There were more Ewok scenes than I had anticipated before watching, but it still worked really well. It was clear Ewoks were not the ones taking on the Empire and merely causing more chaos than actually fighting. Thank you so much for all the work you clearly put in, it was awesome to watch!

Wow, this sounds awesome! I love the idea of Padme living after the birth since it always bothered me with Leia’s description of her mother later on in Return of the Jedi. Can’t wait to check it out!

Super excited to see this edit! I love the concepts you have listed in the change log with removing the jealousy with Han and the impact the Ewoks had on the ground battle. The trailer looked amazing!

This film edit was amazing! I loved progression of the story soooo much more. I actually held off showing my 9-year-old daughter the sequel trilogy despite loving the individual characters because the theatrical The Rise of Skywalker plot was so “inconsistent” (best euphemism I can use here). After watching this edit for the first time, I actually watched it again with her and she loved it! Will definitely be on the lookout for any other projects you decide to consider!
