I have asked that last year but I can’t find the thread anymore.

I have recorded all videos/menus/bonus/play through etc. of the Clone Wars video game on gamecube using my dvd recorder while I was playing in god mode. I made sure to capture everything. All game parts are in vob files. I have packaged the 3 dvds it took to record the dvds in rar files ready to be downloaded (about 6.5 gb). Edit on the vob files will have to be done before packaging.

If any one is interested to make a nice dvd like they did for the bounty hunter game, please let me know and I will send the files to you.

I have recorded all levels in god mode to capture the essence of each levels + menus + unlocked material (cutscenes, making of, spinning models, concept art, etc).

The thing is like 2 hours and half long. 2 dvds & half. It would need some editing, we don't need to see the entire levels, but parts of them are almost necessary to understand the story. I could see fading and transitions here and there to cut the crap. The main cut-scenes are about 20 minutes. We can at least extend them with the intro and final for each levels + 2-3 parts of each levels with dialogues.

I think the story is really something fan of these type of material should jump on : there is Ulic Kel Droma spirit guiding Anakin in the force, massive Jedi Starfighters attacks, Yoda/Mace insights on the Clone Wars, Dooku seaching for a special device leeching the force out of the living things.

I just bought the game titled “Clone Wars” on gamecube for my kid (I paid 15$) and I want to start recording (using my dvd-recorder) the cut-scenes out of the game like I did for Bounty-Hunter. But I don’t want to do it (again) if it has already been done or “extracted”. Any info about if it’s already on the way or available? Let’s get that project started if it’s not already considered by somebody else.

Somebody had to do this dvd, I look foward to see that.

[edit] I watched it yesterday and it's so good that I was disapointed it ended before the real end. I didnt like the game but loved the story. I hope we will see the end at some point! Great job for doing that. The only thing that bugged me was the cut sub-titles because of the aspect ratio of the movie in my tv, I was missing the first 2 letters or so. But I think it has been mentionned before, so no more bad points from my part.

I still don't understand how you did all the camera moves, and ... I don't remember the ewok/wookiees dancing finale in the game?

Daveytod, this is sad to see that you are giving up, you must feel it's your own project and all. But I guess you know what you are talking about and I hope you will get support by other pro from the board. I support you in your decision if this is what you want, for the best of the preservation projects

Youtube file size limit is 100 mb max and there is a lenght max too I think it's 10 minutes? And yes, it changes the quality to make it streamable. Keep in mind that torrent is the future!
