Many thanks for this – I’ve watched this TV special many times, usually to stun any guests to my house that have never seen it before, starting with bootleg VHS tapes as a kid – any this is easily better-looking than I’ve ever seen it before! It’s much more presentable when screening on my big telly, while still preserving just enough 70s videotape grime to keep it groovy haha. I’m not sure how I feel about it being nearly 60FPS, as I’ve never gotten around to liking high frame rates in general, but it mostly fits for this, given the original version likewise had a very shot-on-video soap-opera sort of look anyway – but I might play around with trying out a 24 or 29 frame rate to see if that calms my old eyes.
