Star Wars coming to Blu Ray (UPDATE: August 30 2011, No! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!)
Time

The full quote if anyone's interested....

Now here's a director talking sense!

You mentioned these six minutes of new scenes. Are you one of these guys like George Lucas who likes to go back and tinker with their old films?
I’m not into revision. I think every film should be exactly as it was executed in the moment. We’re not changing the rest of the film, we’re just dropping these scenes in. I actually don’t believe…like when George went back and put new creatures into the original Star Wars, I find that disturbing. It’s a revision of history. That bothers me. I certainly wouldn’t go back and do that to any of my films. A film I made in 1984, it’s what it is. It’s a creature of its time. But with these new scenes we’re adding, I think people certainly had an appetite for more Avatar than we gave them. Nobody complained about it being too long. The scenes we’re putting back are righteous scenes, they’re not Jake sitting around talking about his childhood.

Petition for the Theatrical Cuts of the Original Star Wars Trilogy on Blu-ray
Time

I suppose the catch-22 for many OOT fans if GL does release the OT on Blu-ray but doesn't include HD theatrical versions will be if he does include a lot of the archived deleted scenes and out-takes (as very few were seen on the 2004 DVD).

A lot of people have also been hoping that the original Making Of's will also be included...

What do you guys think? - Would genuine never-before-seen deleted scenes and other extras be enough to convince you to buy the Blu-Ray set without the OOT included?

Hi Ady,

First time poster on Original Trilogy altho i've been lurking for a good couple of years. Loved the ANH-R and loving all the ideas being thrown around for ESB.

Anyway, i know there might be more activity via pm but I hadn't see an update from Ady regarding his monitor. I may be able to help out as I have access to discounts for a couple of the major manufacturers.

Also, depending on where you are in the UK i could give you my old LCD as I bought a new one in february if yo uare sturgling with your old 15" :)

STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED ADYWAN *1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION
Time
Hey Everyone,

Where's the best place to download the DVD-9 PAL version - they doesn't appear to be too many torrents out there for it. I've started download via ab.Starwars using UseNext bust the download say there are PAR files missing.

Also trying to dowload via rapidshare (NTSC version) but there are files unavailable on the server as well.

Would be grateful for someone to point me in the right direction :)
