Wow! Have you just done images or full episodes?
Wow! Have you just done images or full episodes?
Bearing in mind the lack of response to my post above I’m not sure if there is any interest in this, but I’ve now completed a two disc blu ray updated version of this project.

Blu Ray Disc Two (18.8 gig)

I’ve got it if you still need it - drop me a PM with your email address
MrBrown is correct, we sell nothing! if I ever get this damn PC fixed I will upload every fucking thing we did to date for all!
That would be amazing. Would love to check out the JGTH disc.
Good point that’s probably bull. The seller is even claiming to have permission from the studios to sell the discs, even Star Wars! Unfortunately, unless there is some private tracker somewhere I am not a member of, I can’t find the JGTH edit anywhere apart from eBay.
I’ve done some research and TeamBlu did a custom release of this some time ago. The site no longer exists but someone connected to them is selling it on Ebay. Not paying that price though.
It was released on a French DVD. I have it is you are still looking for it - drop me a PM.
Are you sure? It looks like it’s R rated?
I wonder if anyone has either the French or Target Exclusive Blu Rays of Hateful Eight? They have some exclusive extras that would be good to include on a comprehensive cut disc.
French Blu Ray:
Interviews with Quentin Tarantino, Kurt Russell, Tim Roth and Walton Goggins (17:51)
“Avant-premiere in Paris: Press Conference” featurette (10:45)
Target Exclusive Bonus Disc:
“The Hateful Eight: An Inside Look at Quentin Tarantino’s 8th Film” featurette (29:33)
Has anyone out there got the full DF021 Godfather Saga? I’m trying to get a copy, been downloading from PB for a few weeks but no one is seeding. Happy to offer stuff in trade if anyone can help. Thanks
Hi Everyone,
So I’m going to have a go at Version 3 of this. Main idea is to resync the Japanese Suspiria audio track to a crisp blu ray video and possibly do away with the censorship pausing, I’ll know more once I eventually start work on it.
Also planning on doing the same with the other commentary tracks.
I’ll port over all of the extras from Version 2 and redo all the menus so they are nice looking blu ray style menus.
Question to you all is - is there anything significant missing from Version 2 that you would like to see in Version 3? I’d like to avoid including extras that are available on official versions.
One idea I had is someone has transferred the German Super 8 version and synced an English soundtrack to it:
https://www.dawnofthedead.co.uk/item/dawn-of-the-dead-zombie-ufa-super-8mm-reels/
I’d like to include that, would be great if I could get hold of the full resolution version prior to youtube compression but if not I’ll just rip it from youtube.
Any suggestions welcome. Just a note on timescale, instead of taking on one project and getting it done before moving onto the next, my style is to take on 10 projects at the same time and then never get any of them done! So I don’t know exactly when I’ll get this done, but I will 100% do it, it’s just getting the time.
Thanks

If source is 1080p i.e. current shorts or promos not on disc, there should be a menu for BD25 instead of data files. Especially the ALIEN 40th Anniversary shorts.
Resolution doesn’t matter. There is no correlation between resolution and the ability to have menus. For that matter, you could have menus for the older files as well.
Then why not make menus for the older files? Re-encode them as AVC for BD25, no more archaic MPEG2 for DVD. No DVD releases whatsoever. Time to move on from that format.
If there’s going to be random data discs for the older files on BD25, why not use HEVC/H.265 with MKV? Better compression. No need for HDR10. IDGAF if it won’t play on Apple.EDIT: This is only for those features not on ALIEN Covenant or any other disc. Easier to have 1080p/24 HD content to receive menus on BD25s compared to NTSC or PAL. So, all NTSC files to have its own BD25 with zero menus and the same for PAL files for BD25? 1080/24p with menus as its own Archival disc, NTSC as its own Archival disc, and finally PAL as its own Archival disc.
I can dig it.Then do it yourself. I prefer everything in its original frame rate with as little re-encoding as possible
Agreed. My rule of thumb is never re-encode video unless you absolutely have to. I cannot see any benefits to converting MPEG2 SD footage to H264, it will look worse due to the conversion. I’ve read before that MPEG2 produces slightly better quality over H264 when using SD footage. If it’s not broke don’t fix it.
However the mix of PAL and NTSC is an issue particularly for North American users, as 25 FPS is not a required blu ray standard in North America. I did a project recently where all but one of the special features were NTSC and one was PAL. It was a choice of having a disc that can’t be fully played in most of North America or converting that one video to NTSC - I chose the latter but it’s not a good situation to be in.
Off topic but interesting:
A bit late to the party but I’ve had errors with the latest release of TS Muxer doing weird things to certain videos. I reverted to version 1.12.3 and it solved my issue.
You may be about to do this with MeGui - which is a GUI for eac3to. It can change the FPS and correct pitch.
I noticed this has been recently added to a popular public torrent site. It’s 1080p, 5.1 audio in an x265 MKV - 9 gig in total. Just to confirm I’m talking about the Netflix 4 part version not the Roadshow version.
Hi Everyone,
Bit of a strange request but does anyone have contact details or know a user on here called Code101?
I’ve sent them a PM but they haven’t logged on in over a year so it’s doubtful they’ll see it.
I’m not a stalker or anything but they mentioned having a workprint of Predator 2 in an old post and I’d really like to get in touch with them to see if they still have it.
Many thanks
Bingowings - thanks very much for doing that for me - much appreciated and very kind of you! I'll update my site with the dates as you suggest, for info it's the 1979 Star Trek and the 1996 Crash.
Thanks Again.
Well I actually spent ages trying to do just that but it doesn't seem to let me. When I pasted the text in it was nicely formatted but when I posted it, all the text got blocked together. I've tried advanced edit, I set the formatting, returned down after each title, had it all looking nice and as soon as I have edit post it when back to being blocked together again?
So apologies but it is not through lack of trying!
Here is my trading site where the list is much easier to read http://www.freewebs.com/workprints/wanted.htm
Many thanks
