Sounds good man thx !

Hi guys, i had a few problems, took me a few trys, but finlly got how to do it haha
The problem is this, the original video (i only made the first 1995 movie), without any cut, is 2hs and 10 minutes, and is 879mb, the one with the cut, only the movie, is 2.39gb 😦
I don’t know why, i use the Wondershare Filmora9 to vut the video.

Anyway, i think all the 3 movies from the VHS will be the same on mb or GB, let me know wich one you want.
I started now with Empire VHS.

A Little 2 minutes sample (is not that good 😦 )

It’s all good I really just want the 93 laserdiscs so if you can get those to me that’d be great 👍

Sure, i will do it the fast that i can, but i want to let you know something.
I don’t know if is my, me PC, or the program that i use when i finish to past the video to the PC, when i try to cut a part of the video, i did only a few VHS untill now, and take a few minutes to the movie to start, so when i wanted to cut those minutes, the video goes out of sinc 😦

I try to use the VLC to pass the VHS to the PC, but i didn’t work 😦

And i can use my cable only in an old 12 years old notebook haha.

I will do the best that i can and let you know when i got them 😃

I really wanna get Original trilogy laserdiscs, and the newer 4k releases, but have yet to do so.
Here are the star wars films that I currently have:

Original trilogy VHS - I believe the box set is from 1988, It’s the one with the movie posters on the cover; I don’t really know that much about the different vhs releases I just bought them on ebay.

Special Edition VHS with the gold covers - Ah yes, the ones that I grew up on. We love some PlayStation 2 Jabba and fastforwarding through the documentaries at the beginning.

Phantom Menace VHS

Attack of the clones DVD
Revenge of the Sith DVD

Prequel Trilogy Blu Ray set 2011
Original Trilogy Blu Ray set 2011 - My brother and I bought the trilogies separate for some reason. I really remember noticing the changes on this one. Especially the color grading in episode IV.

Star Wars, the clone wars film blu ray
The force awakens blu ray
Rogue one blu ray
The last jedi blu ray
Solo: a star wars story blu ray.

I do plan on getting the rise of skywalker blu ray at some point, but that was by far my least favorite of the disney era films and I don’t really feel motivation to spend 20-30 dollars on something that I won’t watch very often.

I don’t know from where you are.
But you can find the Laserdisc in eBay from 20 bucks.
I live in israel and for shippping and import y paid 98$ for the 1993 boxset (and that cost me 140$), and (funny thing, i just remember) for the 1997 boxset i paid 40$, 47$ for the shipping and didn’t paid import extras 😦, i got screw with the 1993 boxset haha)

Question Dubbed Language
Time

none said:

A possible lead on a Hebrew Audio version can be found in this Empire video clip:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cas-B-CGnLk
In the information of the video they note “Hebrew - Azgad Yossi”.
The audio sounds like a clean recording, not a traditional international audio where they dub over the movie. Don’t know at this point if there is any more to it.

In a few years if your nephew is still into it, can go down this worm hole of Vader’s chest plate fonts:
http://www.erikstormtrooper.com/sithprophecy.htm

Ok, the youtube video, the Hebrew part, is nonsense! hahah, if i translate from the hebrew to english he sais “How am i, how are you” hahha.

The other page, i didn’t undestraned 😦

But in a few more years he will know Hebrew well enough to see the movies in English and subtitles, hehe.
But thanks for the help!

Question Dubbed Language

Harmy’s version is compatible with ‘Project Threepio’ which is a collection of Subtitle packs in different languages for the Star Wars films and Hebrew is available. More information here:
https://originaltrilogy.com/topic/Project-Threepio-Star-Wars-OOT-subtitles/id/13794

The full Harmy’s Despecialized version of Star Wars contains multiple Spanish options: (audio and subtitles)
TRACK 8) 2.0 Dolby Digital [Spanish] (1977 Castilian dub)
TRACK 9) 1.0 Dolby Digital [Spanish] (1980 Latino dub)
https://originaltrilogy.com/topic/Harmys-STAR-WARS-Despecialized-Edition-HD-V2-7-MKV-Released/id/12713/page/1

If this community does learn of a Hebrew audio version it may be discussed in the ‘International Audio’ thread:
https://originaltrilogy.com/topic/International-Audio-including-Voice-Over-Translations/id/14451/page/1

Editing.
First, Thanks, because english is not a problem for me, i never check the other audios on the Harmy’s version, because of you, i just check, and is Latin Amerian Spanish in all the 3 movies, hehe, i just re download the hebrew subtitles so i can put both of them.
So, again, thanks!

Question Dubbed Language
Time

Hello guys.

I hope this is the correct forum to ask this question.

I want to show my nephew the Original Trilogy, not the Special Edition or the BR or the 4K, but the problem is that he speak’s only Hebrew and there is not Dubbed Language for the movies in Hebrew.
We are from Argentina, so my parents and sister speak to him in Spanish, so maybe he will understand the movies in Spanish.

So, first, any one have the OT Dubbed Language in Spanish?
Two, i will like to show him the Harmy’s version, i know that they have subtitles, but not sure about the Dubbed Language, is any way that i can get the Dubbed Language for that version?

Thanks in advance for any help 😃

Those are really cool scans, I’d forgotten how cool some of the art and layout used was (even for the [whispers] Special Editions) 😃

There is just something so likeable about seeing old VHS covers ❤️

I know, i think people are asking about them, and if not, i remember that i serched for them and didn’t found ones that look good enough to make covers, so i uploaded them 😃
