Appreciate the thread mateys, I am tinkering with making an edit of the Holiday Special just to
learn the ins/outs of doing such a thing and the enjoyment of making something new perhaps.

I just finished the download of the angrysun torrent [KCCI] and burned it to a DVD with Nero.
So now I am currently searching for the various software pieces folks use to make these edits.

Sounds like Vegas and Womble are key ... any other advice hey ?

Well finally finsihed my torrent download on Myspleen - wohoo! And followed Rikters nice little
pictoral guide on Nero burning for rookies

Greatly appreciate all the PMs & E-mails everyone
sent as I started this journey ... now I am going to tinker with crafting my own type of 'edit'

Thank-you to all the seeders for sure and angrysun for taking the time to make the torrent.
It was a pleasent surprise to see that little blurb on the DVD with the voice -

Now to seed a little as I search for some tricks/advice on making menus and such ...

SKot, Rikter, ReverandBeastly & the 'rest of the gang'

Any particular thread here on the OT forums that can offer some
very basic guidance on how-to make a personal edit hey?
Specifically I was thinking of getting my feet wet trying to do
something like burn a DVD with one of the variations of the
Holiday Special. Not sure if its rather complicated to add a
few basic menu options like a commerical DVD [to put some
additional related content on it like the script or the Ford interview].
Also could use some advice on software for sure ... apologies if
there is an obvious answer and I overlooked it while surfing
the forums! I am about to secure a highspeed connection and
want to try and build me a DVD of the Holiday Special for my
own personal collection but do not just want to buy one of the
E-Bay ones. Appreciate any assistance
