I agree we should write letters but nice letters to lucasfilm and let them know we all want anamorphic widescreen versions of the o-ot on dvd.

I like to know why (some but not all) some people say negative coments about George Lucas? I mean I yes there are some things about the SE I don't like but I like the changes to the films. I'm glad Mr. Lucas is releaseing the original verson of the original trilogy to dvd. And about the changes he's made to his movies. He has the right to change what ever he want in his flims there his movies and I like him his is one of my favortie directors along with steve spielburg and most of the other good hollywood and independent film directors. Any coments about this topic?

Your right Jay where getting like we're getting exactly what we asked for, and I am very happy about it. I like all the versions off all the star wars movies that George Lucas has released over the years. There are some changes I like and ones I don't like but overall I'm happy that finaly the versions of the star wars trilogy we all grew up with are coming on dvd. And I think dvd's will look great. Thank you mr. lucas. And Thank you Jay for starting this peation and making it work. Star wars is forever.
